Glad Joe won the title. Wasn't to fond of in the match with Joe not really selling the figure four like it should of been and then after having the figure four applied for such a long time Joe's legs seemed fine to do a full speed running knee to the face.

I would give it 3/5 stars. It could of been a whole lot better with more wrestling and less MMA. I see enough of MMA with UFC and the Ultimate Fighter. I do understand the reasoning and concept of why it happened but just didn't like it.

I really enjoyed the PPV though. Lockdown is one of my favorites.

It was pretty exceptional stuff and it has garnered praise from all over the internet. The crowd was red hot. What more could you have wanted?

Aaaah, just got back from the Tsongas Arena. Crowd was really really hot tonight. Before the show, JB said that they were giving out free backstage passes to the loudest fans. That really pumped my section up.

Some notes:
While RNRI were waiting in the ring, they pulled out cigarettes and put them in there mouths. A couple fans from ringside threw in some lighters repeatedly, but RNRI didn't light them.

A cameraman fell during Samoa Joe's entrance.

The "Cena Sucks" chant started because some guy at ringside showed the crowd a sign that said "CENA SUCKS...oh wait, wrong show"

There was almost a fight in my section because a guy was standing up almost all of Joe/Angle. He had 2 NWA title belts around his shoulders, and was peppered with trash. Eventually, my section broke out with a "SIT DOWN BELT GUY!" Chant. He eventually sat down.

MCMG and Roxxi Laveaux took pictures with fans before the event for 10 bucks a piece...

It was a great, gutsy, real-looking fight, you know the kind a certain murderer performed and was highly praised for.

Just a warning to all of you that enjoy TNA and this PPV, do not go on the talkimpact messageboards, because if you want to see true hate and bias opinions about TNA, that is the place to go. I used to really enjoy that board until the ROH Bots and WWE fanboys came along and messed it up witheir bias opinions. TNA:Lockdown was a great ppv that delivered and then some. Finally Joe won the title.

The match isn't everyones cup of tea. If you didn't like it, tough titty. Tonight I believe TNA did everything the hardcore fans wanted them to with Joe/Angle, they wanted good booking, no interferences, and a clean win. Its exactly what they got.

Even though you didn't like it, others will.

I figured the match would get kind of a mixed reaction.

It's all a matter of opinion. Personally, I thought the MMA thing worked better than I thought it would and I applaud them for trying to give us something different. For the most part I felt that it worked. However, I definately don't think this was Joe/Angle's best match either.

Though to be fair, some won't like it.

Some are reacting as if the entire match was MMA, and it wasn't. It was wrestling. The first five minutes were mat based wrestling, it's the same Kurt Angle you have seen for the last 9 years on TV. Nothing changed, except that this match was more realistic because it looked like two guys who wanted to kick the shit out of each other, and not just a scripted wrestling match.
