I was thinking the same thing throughout the entire night. The cage didnt seem to come into play much, and outside of the main event and lethal lockdown all the matches should have used it a little more. Well I guess Cuffed in the Cage used it enough also.

Part of the reason for that is that if the cage comes into play all the time in every match, then the fans get tired and don't react as well to the big spots, so they try to space them out.

It would probably be better if they just had Lethal Lockdown and the main event inside the cage (which is what it was originally supposed to be) but now Lockdown is such a set thing for TNA, it might be hard for them to take that away and not upset people.

Is Joe/Angle that good or are the ratings slightly inflated due to Joe winning the title?
You know its funny you say that. I thought people crapped on the Hard Justice match entirely because Joe lost.

I think people will look back favorably on this match for the sole reason that Joe won. As for the match itself, I thought it was different and for the most part very good, but its not something I'd like to be a regular thing in pro wrestling. Pro Wrestling is pro wrestling and MMA is MMA. These two guys could pull it off, but its not something I want to be the norm. If they want to borrow influences from UFC, I think the best thing do try and copy would be the way they hyped the main event. That was extremely well done.

Also, I still fell like their TP06 is by far their best match. None of the other matches come close.

No, Hard Justice was awful in part because this was a 3-4 month stretch that TNA was at its worse. Overall, the booking was horrendous. Then you add on the fact that you saw the swerve coming a mile away. It was a dark period for that company.

It is true that the swerve was painfully obvious, but there have been many times that I have seen a swerve coming. I mean my God, who didn't see Stephanie turning on Vince at Armageddon 99. The second they said she was going to be in the front row I thought "Screw job!"

But because the ending was obvious, I'll say that it was definately Angle & Joe's weakest match. However, to say the match was horrible (as some people were) I think is a huge stretch.

I felt that a lot of people were pissed that Joe lost which is why they were so harsh on that match, but I could be wrong.

Default You have GOT to be kidding me!

Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle just wrestled the worst match I've seen since Chris Harris-James Storm in a Blindfold Match. IT WAS A FUCKING MMA MATCH! If I wanted to see MMA, I would tune in to UFC or P.R.I.D.E. I tune in to TNA to see wrestling.

TNA, you've dissapointed me on a PPV for the first time since the weekly PPV era. Shame on you.

However, don't think I don't watch WWE. I watch all four shows, and I probably would watch ROH if it were free. It's just that if I had to choose between TNA and WWE, I would pick TNA 11 times out of 10.
