I laugh at people calling that match boring.

I still have to see the Xscape match and Queen of the Cage. I came in late, but I recorded it.

I did get a chuckle when Joe slapped on the STF and a Cena sucks chant started up.

I did notice the little pointed things coming out the mask, but I never paid attention to it really, lmao though.

Re: Lockdown Discussion Thread
Lockdown was a very good PPV, probably TNA's best so far this year.
I loved the opening video for this show. It was creepy.
Xscape Match was the perfect choice to open up. I was shocked that Sonjay got eliminated first as I kind of expected him to turn on Lethal, but I guess there is a later time to do that. There were some very good spots like the Tower of Doom and Curry Man's dive, and as expected the crowd was pretty hot for this one. All the guys looked impressive and had their moments, even Devine, who I always felt was kind of bland. This was the best choice to open the PPV without a doubt.
Queen of the Cage was pretty good. Thankfully they kept the climbing into the cage part pretty short as that can only be interesting for so long. Also, it was great that it came down to Roxxy & Love given the storyline. Roxxy is pretty good. I love her finisher, and her against Kong will be interesting since she's pretty much the only girl Kong hasn't killed.
BG vs. Kip: The crowd kind of crapped on it, which IMO wasn't fair because they actually tried to make the match good. They did some cool spots like Billy setting up for the Fameasser off the top rope and Billy countering Shake Rattle and Roll into a Diamond Cutter. This was the worst match on match on the card, but to be honest I think it could have been a lot worse.
Cuffed in the Cage: I thought this match was going to suck, but thankfully it actually tuned out to be pretty fun to watch. Kaz and LAX were great in this one as they were the ones that made the match exciting. The bit with Super Eric was expected and it came off really well. The idea of handcuffing your opponents to the cage to win is somewhat ludicrous, but the guys managed to make it work, and it actually turned out to be a pretty entertaining match.
Knockouts Tag Match - Another good match. Gail & ODB provided some great action. Kong was her usual cool self, but Saeed kind of disappointed me. Everybody tells me about how great she is and I don't think we got to see why in this match. She hung in there though and played her part, but didn't do anything too memorable. Gail & ODB on the otherhand did great. Top of the Cage Hurricarana was great as was ODB's big splash.
Mixed Tag Team Match - Probably the most disappointing match on the card. It was good, but I felt like this match should have indicated the ending of the Booker/Roode feud, and I didn't get that feeling from this match. The ending was kind of abrupt too. But Booker & Roode did very well in the early portions of the match.
Lethal Lockdown - My pick for MOTN. As usual, Lethal Lockdown was awesome. I loved the opening with the Tomko swerve and AJ's sneak attack on Christian. Everybody contributed to make the match entertaining. Matt Morgan didn't do much but made a nice impact with what he did. I really liked the Stereo Chokeslams him and Nash hit on Team 3D. AJ & Christian were the stars of the match. AJ came up with some really neat moves like his reversal of Morgan's chokeslam and Christian took some crazy falls. That spot on the top of the cage was crazy and scary as hell while they were setting it up. I was surprised that Rhino got the win for his team. I figured it would be either Sting, Christian, or Morgan who would get it if Team Cage won, but the match was great and my favorite of the night.
Joe vs. Angle V - First of all I loved how they hyped this match up as big as they did. It really did feel like a major main event for TNA.
The match itself was, as hyped, more of an MMA style match with mostly wrestling and not much in the way of spots. I thought both men worked it well and it seemed like the crowd responded well to the match. And they did tell a great story with the match as there was one part where I honestly thought Joe was going to tap out. Overall, I thought that the match delivered and THANK GOD THAT JOE FINALLY WON THE FUCKING TITLE!!!! That was the best part of the show right there. However, the MMA thing is not something I'd like to see regularly, but for this one match I thought these two guys were able to make it work.
So Lockdown was pretty damn good for the most part. These was nothing terrible and some things far surpassed my expectations while the two main events pretty much made the show worth every penny. I was really happy with this show.
Match Rankings:
1) Lethal Lockdown
2) Joe vs. Angle
3) Xscape
4) Cuffed in the Cage
5) Gail/ODB vs. Kong/Saeed
6) Queen of the Cage
7) Mixed Tag Match
8) BG vs. Kip

Mystery, I have to watch the match again, but I have trouble even giving it four stars. It started super slow, had the world's longest figure four in the middle and had a very weak finish. And yes there were boring chants. The Turning Point match poops on this match.

I think that has alot to do with how people are rating this match, but I think is fair that Joe winning affects the rating a little. This match had the total package, good booking/build, no interferences, a clean win and solid wrestling.
TNA as of late have been putting on really good iMPACT's, now that Joe is champion, I see things getting even better.
Lockdown itself as a PPV could have done alot better with the right type of matches and booking, but both main events and the womens match made this PPV worth peoples money.
Edit - yes I heard a few boring chants, to be honest - it sounded like one guy shouting from the top of his voice. Last time Low Ki and Kaz had a match, some of the crowd were chanting boring which was followed by shut the fuck up, would have marked to hear that tonight.
