Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
The odd thing about Elevation X is that I hate it leading into the match, but when the match ends with nobody getting hurt, I enjoy it. That's how I felt about the first one anyway. I kind of had the same thing with the Inferno match. Hopefully Storm and Rhino get away from the match without getting hurt, and hopefully they can make it entertaining like AJ & Rhino did last year

However I like the Elevation X match and I enjoyed it last year, it's overrated. It's just like the ultimate X (maybe a bit higher). I have seen AJ doing some spots way more risky than his fall during Elevation X last year. Just enjoy the tension.

Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
I'm hoping the Elevation X match will end with Rhino goring Storm off the scaffold with Storm falling onto the table, but that probably won't happen.

Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
^i see crazy spots happening like rhino goring storm off the scaffold onto tables or ladders or maybe both but for the end of the match i somehow see storm getting this win then lossing to rhino at lockdown in a one on one match or duing lethal lockdown teams

Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
They'll probably brawl a little before it, then make there way up. It'll just be there for thrill and attraction.

Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
Elevation X is such a dumb stipulation, you lose if you fall off? The thing is too high to have any good spots off unless they want there wrestlers seriously injured. I watched Rhino/Styles in elevation X like a month ago, couldn't be more boring IMO.

What is so hard to understand about losing if you fall?
Watching a pre-recorded Elevation X match vs watching Elevation X Live on PPV are 2 completely different scenarios. How could ANYONE be bored watching this live? The match is scary and extremely dangerous. Last year was great, and I expect the same this Sunday!
Im hoping that Rhino gores Storm right off the side and falls with storm, landing ontop of him or something so that they both lose, leading to a re-match at Lockdown.

Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
My problem with Elevation X stems from the danger issue as anything can go wrong in an instant. But it sure as hell isn't boring. That AJ/Rhino match was probably the scariest match I've ever watched (either that or the first Inferno Match with Taker & Kane)

Re: Destination X Discussion Thread
Kinda interesting, but just looked on the TNA Website, and there's only going to be 6 matches for the Lockdown PPV. Angle vs. Joe V already on the site. 5 other matches will be announced. So I'm guessing..
-Joe vs. Angle
-Lethal Lockdown
-Tag Team Championship
-X-Division Championship
-Knockouts Championship
-James vs. James
Unless they add more slots.
