Right. I have just finished watching Destination X and, all in all, I think it was a pretty good PPV. The first half of the card was particularly good, but there weren't any real let downs for me as far as the matches went.
LAX v. MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS v. THE ROCK AND RAVE INFECTION.
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Some of those spots were out of this world - Hernandez diving to the outside and tearing his shirt open, Homicide's dive to the outside followed by Don West marking out, as Homicide stands on the announce table... absolutely outstanding. OH, and I almost forgot - Hernandez standing with Lance Hoyt in that suplex position with all that chaos going on around him - I so marked out. LAX deserved to win this match 100%. Jimmy Rave had some good spots too, namely the head scissor take down move - not exactly sure what it was, but it was cool. Also, the team work of MCMG was good to watch. Alex Shelly got the hell beat out of him in that match, though. Anyway, probably my match of the night.
JAY LETHAL v. PETEY WILLIAMS.
Again, another great match. Damn, that Canadian Destroyer looked deadly. Anyway, I really thought Petey was winning this one after Steiner's interference, but Val comes to the rescue. Also, this whole Sonjay Dutt thing is so weird. Great match, though. Glad Lethal retained.
ERIC YOUNG & KAZ v. BLACK REIGN & RELLIK.
Once again, another solid match - wayyy better than what I was expecting. The whole 'Super Eric' thing was freakin' hilarious.

Glad Kaz and Young won the match. Oh, and Black Reign still sucks, but that's okay.
GAIL KIM v. ODB v. AWESOME KONG.
Another match of the night candidate for me. Seriously, the TNA Women's Division is one of the best things going for them at the moment, imo. It was nice to see the contrast between all three in the ring, and it flowed extremely well. Some amazing spots in this one. I completely marked out when Kong hit Kim with a frog splash. I actually cringed - that looked painful as hell. Anyway, yeah, amazing match, as per.
TEAM 3D v. CURRY MAN & SHARK BOY.
Meh. An okay match. I didn't expect much from it, to be honest, so it did exceed my expectations. I did like the whole back body drop into the fish and ice. So, I guess it was okay for giggles at the beginning, but it just went on for too long. OH, and the spot with Devine going through the table was pretty awesome. Ridiculous ending, though, with the whole 'mistaken identity 3D.' WTF was that?!
ROBERT ROODE v. BOOKER T.
I actually enjoyed this match. I predicted Roode to win, but I still thought that Booker T was definitely in with a shout on several occasions. YAY for Sharmell. Damn, she went so psycho on the security guys. Alex approves.

So, yeah. I enjoyed it, but it could have been better. Can't wait for the huge blow off from it.
RHINO v. JAMES STORM.
I don't think this match was as bad as it has been made out to be. I've watched it twice, and I enjoyed it better second time around, knowing that no one was going to get hurt. I literally had my hands over my eyes when Rhino slipped as he climbed up - I had a really bad feeling after that. I liked the spot with Jackie, but I think the match was overhyped, and that was the main problem. Also, the bump at the end could have been more spectacular, but I completely get that careers are being messed with every time this match comes about. I, for one, hate the fact that you can only win the match if you throw your opponent off the structure. It's stupid. Would it be that hard to get the person to climb back down and pin them? But not that bad, imo. Could have been worse.
CHRISTIAN CAGE, SAMOA JOE & KEVIN NASH v. THE ANGLE ALLIANCE.
Ohhhh, what a match. Glad to see Christian shone in this match.

But I was marking out for A.J. the entire time. Spiral Tap? Yes please. That was awesome - looked really painful, too. I also loved how Joe waited at the bottom of the ramp for Angle, and the eye contact between Joe and Angle was intense. But Christian and A.J. stole the show, imo.
Wow, I blab. Awesome PPV, some great stuff heading into Lockdown. I just hope they can keep this going.
