I'd love to see Christian win the title but I get the feeling this one's going Angle's way... again. Joe is gonna be the man to dethrone King Kurt.

I dunno, I'm kinda on the fence with who's gonna win the Angle/Cage match.

It'll be interesting to see what role Joe plays in this match, I could see him destroying the both of them at some point.

If I had to choose, I still think Cage walks out with the belt. Cause if he loses this match, the feud is essentially over unless they do a triple threat match at Destination X.(Which would be good.)

I would love a Joe/Cage program for the belt, with Angle off in some other direction. I could see Cage winning the belt here, then Angle winning it back at Slammiversary and then Joe taking it from him BFG.

edit: I think a surprise Sting comeback is also a possibility at this show, altho it would probably be all over the internet by now.

After trying to watch this weeks show, there really is no build up for anything on this ppv. Christian has been too worried with what is going on with Tomko, and TNA has basically ignored the title match with the exception of a few mentions of Angle during Cage's promo this week. It's really no surprise they still have great seating available for the ppv and the ratings dropped this week. That said...

It's really a given that Angle is going to walk out of AAO with the TNA title. There has been zero hype to this match, with the exception of this week. It's quite clear that at Destination X it'll be Joe/Angle yet again for the belt.

I dunno what show you were watching, there was tons of build for every match at AAO on Impact this week.

Petey/Steiner was added last minute, but their storyline has been brewing for awhile and a match was bound to happen sooner than later.

Cage/Angle build really wasn't anything special at all. Like I said a while back. This is a bigger match than what TNA has made it out to be, theres so much to it, that TNA hasn't even talked about. I thought they would take better advantage of this. It's a huge match.

---

Since Christian Cage has come into TNA, he has made Against All Odds, his PPV. In 2006, Christian Cage defeated 6-Time TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett to gain his first TNA Heavyweight Championship Title. In 2007, Christian Cage defeated Kurt Angle to retain his then 2nd TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Christian Cage has had nothing to complain about when it's come to Against All Odds.

This time around he can make it 3 for 3, as he goes up against Kurt Angle at Against All Odds 2008. Angle/Christian have had 2 matches so far in TNA. Christian getting the victory in 2006 at Against All Odds, and Kurt Angle getting the victory in 2008 at Final Resolution. Both matches for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and this one no different. This is the rubber match to see who really is the top dog in TNA.

AJ and Tomko will probably retain. I see Kip James turning on BG and Bullet Bob.

To me this year AAO has come off more like a filler PPV then anything special which it could have been. However I think TNA will take this time to build towards D-X which I think has the posiblity of doing great things. Here's why

Cage vs Angle TNA WHC

To me Kurt walks out with the victory but doesn't walk out of the ring. I beleive this match will be soild from pilliar to post and Joe will be the one that keeps things interesting. I think we'll see a straight wrestling contest from both Cage and Kurt which will be great and we'll see also a ton of a tired interfearance from Styles, Karen and Tomko. With Joe as the enforcer I beleive we'll see him sit back for a while as Tomko and Styles brawl on the outside until Matt Morgan come sout to stop it which results in Joe being hit and then taking it out on everybody like the Big SOB he plays.

So while things break down on the outside of the ring, inside we get a straight wrestling match with Kurt wining but my the hair of chinny chin chin.

D-X

This leads to the D-X main event which will be Joe/Angle 5. This PPV will feature AJ Styles in two ways, the first will be a handy cap match for the Tag Team Titles AJ vs Tomko and Cage in which Cage and Tomko will pull off the win

But where it gets interesting is because the ME will feature AJ Styles as the speical guest ref as desgetaned by managment. Becuase the last time Styles was the ref he counted the three on Kurt. Anyway after being threated and beaten by both Kurt and Karen to do the right thing. So after weeks of this treatment AJ is hesaten to get in the way of Joe/Kurt because the last time they met Karen screwed Joe. So a Brawl and good wrestling match goes down for around a good twenty to twenty five mins or so with Styles not counting anyone. This brings both Kurt and Joe to push AJ around with Styles hitting both guys. This brings down Mat Morgan who gets a chair shot to his head for his troubles, this brings down Nash and Cornett. Kurt is laid out cold in the ring with Styles and Morgan with him. Cornett screams at Joe for all this with Nash holding Joe back until he turns and levels Joe with a close line.

Cornett then gets on the action as well beating Joe down with a some fists to the forhead. The fans become irate and boo Cornett who laughs as Angle and STyles each get up and low blow Joe. Kurt locks in the Ankle Lock and STyles calls for the bell.

They end up cutting Joe open with the new Angle Allaince/Corperation Karen/Styles/Kurt/Cornett/Morgan & Nash all standing tall at the end of the PPV.

Lockdown

This now gives Joe the full bad ass turn allowing for perharps to have Joe vs Morgan Steel Cage while Angle could perharps face Sting or some one keeping the WHC secne going while Joe has to earn his spot. Also I would think the MCMG could join as well after D-X, after they beat the Dudley's they turn heel on the fans for cheering the Dudley's after their match so that we could see a fued with Cage & Tomko vs the MCMG for the Tag Titles, while then perharps TNA could introduce oits fith title and have Styles try for the gold as he and some one fued for it adding anther man to the whole Team Joe vs Team Angle story line.

Just my thoughts

I see Angle retaining so that AJ can take the belt from him at DX. It will probably be Angle(c)/AJ/Tomko.

I'm hoping this Samoa Joe thing goes on a week or two more and we get a Morgan/Joe feud to keep Joe out of the title picture a little longer. Don't get me wrong, I want Joe to get the belt but now is not the right time. At BFG from Sting or better yet at Turning Point from Sting.

I definitely see Kip screwing the Armstrongs, I'll be completely flabbergasted if it doesn't happen.

I'm also interested to see what happnes in the Petey/Steiner match.

I am thinking that the winner of that match will interfere and make sure MCMG/Lethal win, so that person would get 2
title shots instead of one.

At first I thought Steiner was gonna win, but now I'm pretty sure Petey is gonna take it. Then he'll have a world title match first(which he'll lose) and then a X Division title match after(which I think he'll win.)
