Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
So that deal doesn't allow you to choose what DVD's you want? Cause if it did I'd be all over it, but with me owning so many TNA DVD's already I'd probably end up with atleast 3 being ones I have already.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah I might put 08 ahead of 06 since Joe/Sting > Sting/Jarrett, Monsters Ball V > III, Cage/Booker/AJ = Cage/Rhino, and Steel Asylum > X battle royal.
Then you've got the 2 best matches from BFG 06 which were Senshi/Sabin and LAX/Phenomenal Angels and then Angle/Jarrett is best match from this card. I dunno, it's close overall.
Also I thought Joe/Sting > Sting/Angle, but it's also close. But I thought the heat was better for Sting/Joe, it told a better story, the finish was better despite not being what everyone wanted, and it came across as more of a really big match to me.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Well I was bored tonight and pulled out Victory Road 08 and gave it a rewatch (taped it on DVD) and i must say if you haven't seen this PPV, this is a must buy once it's out on DVD. Full Metal Mayhem between Cage, Rhino, AJ vs. Angle & Team 3D was a crazy, chaotic, and hardcore match. There are some solid matches on the undercrad including Gail Kim vs. Angelina Love and Sonjay vs. Lethal. But I must say, the highlight of this great show came from the finals of the world x cup. The 12 man tag was just fucking insane. It reminded me of a dragon gate ROH match....just absolutely insane and probably one of my favorite TNA matches this year. Another highlight of the x cup on this show was the Ultimate X match, with Kaz doing one of the craziest stunts I have seen in an Ultimate X, ever. Seriously, if done wrong....Davari could've died. But ya just a random thought on a good PPV.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
VR08 was a great show. People kind of looked down on it because they hated the ending to the main event, but overall, I thought it was TNA's best PPV of 08 until BFG.
12 Man Elimination Tag was great. A spotfest yes, but a kick ass opener.
Gail vs. Love, Dutt vs. Lethal, & Taylor vs. Kong were all solid matches.
I really enjoyed Fan's Revenge with LAX vs. Beer Money Inc. It was basically just a fun way for the heels to get whipped up on and for that it was fun.
Ultimate X was really cool, and that spot you talked about might have been the most insane spot in Ultimate X history.
Full Metal Mayhem was my pick for MOTN and one of my favorite matches this year. It was crazy.
Booker vs. Joe was great except for the non finish. They should have announced that Joe lost via DQ and then did the whole bit with Sting & Booker getting an unofficial pin. At least we would have had an ending. However, the match itself was pretty intense and really good.
