Taroo, I could see that argument being made for the X Division DVD, but that NWA-TNA Title Matches set has quite a collection of matches.
- Gauntlet for the Gold (granted it's pretty clipped)
- Killings vs. Jarrett
- Jarrett vs. Styles
- Jarrett vs. Raven
- Jarrett vs. Raven vs. Styles
- Styles vs. D'Lo in a Ladder Match
- The Disciples of the New Church vs. AMW
- AMW vs. Triple X
- Triple X vs. Jerry Lynn/Amazing Red
- Triple X vs. Styles/D'Lo
- Triple X vs. AMW in the very first steel cage match in TNA
That's a pretty solid and quality collection there.

Yeah that is a pretty good collection of matches, haven't seen some of those in quite some time.
The Raven/Styles match isn't on there? That match is pretty great as well.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Just finished watching Slammi. Here are my ratings.
Kaz vs Petey ***3/4
Great way to open the show. Lots of back and forth action and Let’s go Petey/ Let’s go Kaz chants. I was hoping for the top rope Canadian Destroyer, but the normal one is so devastating too, I love it. I don’t know why Abyss ran in, but we’ll see on Impact. Great action.
ODB/Gail/Roxxi vs Beautiful People and Moose *3/4
Some solid action from these women, but it could have been better. They worked for ages on Gail’s knee so it was a bit dull at times.
LAX vs Team 3D **3/4
Solid action once again. Nothing really special.
Awesome Kong Challenges ¼*
Once again the two fans were treated like toys. I hope this leads to something.
Wedding segment. D to the U to the D
WTF was this doing on a PPV?,this should have been on Impact. The only good thing was the Dutt heel turn, but they immediately destroyed him.
Booker promo: unlike the other solid promos, this one was off the charts. This passion and the determination in his voice were brilliant. I really like the heel Booker.
Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles ****1/4
Better than I expected considering Kurt’s neck problems. A great mix of mat wrestling and AJ’s high flying abilties. I really enjoyed it.
KOTM ***3/4
Not as spotty as last year’s KOTM, but still a very good match. Only the ending was a bit too much rushed. Christian’s cross body and frog splash were awesome.
Overall: 7/10
3 very good matches, one average and 3 TV matches. I'd put this PPV on the same level as AAO, but not as good as LD.
MOTN:
AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle

If its the Ladder Match you are on about, it is on the first Best of the Bloodiest Brawls DVD (the 2003 one)
Also, does anyone know where I can get the Ultimate X Collection DVD? Just after I signed up to ebay, I missed out on one for about £7, and haven't seen another since (that was about a year ago)

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Bound for Glory (2005)

1.) Samoa Joe vs. Jushin Liger - **3/4
Fine showcase match, but I expected a little more. Too short really.
2.) Diamond/Young/Skipper vs Shark Boy/Apollo/Siaki - *1/2
Dreadful match, I could care less about any of these guys.
3.) Monty Brown vs. Lance Hoyt - **1/2
Good power vs power matchup, nice pounce to end it.
4.) 3Live Kru vs. Team Canada - *
Short forgettable match, 3lk pretty much dominated the entire time. TC up their their usual antics with the hockey sticks.
5.) Ultimate X - Sabin vs Petey vs Bentley - ***1/4
Good match for the most part but of course this will always be remembered for the X falling down not once but twice. Poor Petey was so confused as to what to do, and bentley and sabin looked legit pissed off. Shame because the match was starting to get really good at that point.
6.) Tag titles - AMW vs The Naturals - ***
Good brawl throughout, but I would've liked to see a little more wrestling action. Nice match anyway.
7.) Monsters Ball II - Abyss vs Sabu vs Hardy vs Rhino - ****1/4
Man was this entertaining. If you like extreme matches this is a dream for you. At about 12 minutes in length the action never stops for 1 second. Amazing spot after amazing spot of brutal greatness. Hardy's leap from the top of the entrance ramp was Unfreakinbeliveable! I don't know how he missed hitting his head on the lower level... WOW is all I gotta say! Also Rhino's middle rope Piledriver on Hardy was incredibly sick! Great match.
8.) 30-minute Ironman for the X-title Styles vs Daniels - ****
Great back and forth stuff from both men. The beginning kinda dragged as there were lots of submissions and restholds. But the last 15 minutes or so were great. Couldn't recapture the awesome quality of their Against all odds match but still pretty damn good.
9.) 10 man Gauntlet - #1 contender - **
Ok match but just you usual battle royal stuff. What hurt it the most was that all the guys in it had a previous match earlier and were clearly exhausted. Monty eliminating himself was some damn funny stuff though lol.
10. Nwa world title - Jarret vs ??? - *1/2
Crowd was spent and the match basically went through the motions. Too much stuff going on. Jarret no selling RIGHT after the pinfall was a little off putting. The after match stuff with Team3d's appearance was really cool though. The crowd went ape shit over them.
Overall: I gotta say I'm disappointed with this show. I expected alot better. The first half was really just crap. Great MB and Iron man matches and few solid contest here and there but not enough to offset the bad. The pre-match show featuring a 4 way between Strong/Aries/Shelly/Dutt should have been on the main show. I got it at ***3/4.

Don't know if this has been posted but there is another Knockouts DVD in the works this time it will include mostly matches.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Nice BFG review AJ, my ratings are mostly similar but I would go slightly higher on a few matches.
I think the preshow 4 way is actually atleast ****, that match is incredible.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Preshow match was indeed great. If only they'd place that in the show and gotten rid of 3LK/TC and the Diamonds in the rough match...
Shame about the X falling, anyone know how many times that's happened the history of the UX matches?

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
That's the only one I've seen it happen in, but I haven't seen all of the older Ultimate X matches.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
^^^ The Belt fell down in the first Ultimate X twice, but that didn't seem to detract from this match as much as it did the BFG match, mainly because the guys did a better job of making up for the mishaps.
For me, the major selling point of Bound for Glory 2005 was the situation with Rhino. It really reminded me of Wrestlemania IV where a tired Savage had to face a well rested DiBiase in the finals of the tournament, only for the hero to prevail in gutsy manor. And I guess you could say Team 3D making their shocking return was kind of like Hogan evening the odds and coming out to counter Andre, even though the match had already ended by the time they got down there, but hey.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah, The X fell twice in the first UX match. Has been edited in the UX DVD.
I dont why they didnt re-set up the X the 2nd time at BFG.(***1/4)
