Everything else has ranged from DUD - solid at best.
Oh, I agree. I'll love the guy always, but his work hasn't been good at all. I've often said the line "Sting hasn't had a good match in a decade" and it's pretty legit. match vs Angle at BFG '07 was really good though. I don't think I'll say it was a carry job by Angle since he is the last person I could see carrying anyone post 2004.

It's fun when you turn your brain off. Like fuck a rating when I watch it b/c I get a kick out of it. Plus, Abyss won the NWA World Championship. As a big fan of his back then, I'll always

i kinda agree with you here although Sting isn't too bad his like the only Wrestler to wrestle full time at his age over the last few years , i mean who else does this in the company or in wwe at his age? theres pretty much no one. And plus his mic skills are pretty good i'd say one of the best in the business still.

I really think Sting wanted to retire years ago, but Dixie Carter kept persauding him to come back, i remember him saying it at his hall of fame ceremony, it's a shame as well because nearly everytime he signed a new deal they pretty much gave him the world title every time, which could of been given to another wrestler.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Stinger didn't have one good performance, eh?

- 2012: Roode LJ match, the Bad Influence tag
- 2011: Sting/Hogan, Sting & Storm vs. Ray & Roode
- 2009: Styles BFG, Ultimate Sacrifice
- 2008: Styles on TP, Storm on Impact
- 2007: Angle BFG, Roode No DQ, VR tag, Joe KOTM qualifier, Sacrifice 3-Way, Abyss AAO, FR 3-Way
- 2006: Genesis, Jarrett BFG, w/ Christian vs. JJ & Steiner, Steiner KOTM Qualifier, Sacrifice tag, Lethal Lockdown, FR tag

Now, I know some of those matches stink, but Sting was at least rock solid there, and being even great in some. It's not his entire fault he's always booked like it's 1997. Let's face it, they almost always put him in ridiculous stories. He's TNA's Kane, not Undertaker.

Only Sting doesn't wrestle full time. He's worked about 10 matches in the last 14 months.

well in the main event mafia days, and before that he was wrestling full time and he was in his late 40's and getting into his early 50's and he was wrestling full time, no one else in wrestling his age was doing it back then.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Sorry, but he is incredibly overrated.

As for the matches listed by JoeRulz, I could say that some of them are fine, but he has done nothing that I would even consider somewhat great in TNA.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Hate? Even Sting admits that he does almost nothing in/for TNA. And if you want to compare his "hard work" to all the money and ball-licking that he gets in TNA....

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

lol @ calling it hate. I love Sting. I said that already. I'm only pointing out the facts. So this must be the most passive aggressive form of hate I'm spitting out, huh?

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Stick Stinger in a tag and I'm not that fussed. His match w/ Doc at Genesis was hot garbage though and i didnt really care as much as Cody that Gallows got squashed I expected him to look terrible going into it
