I didn't phrase that correctly. I mean if Shelley returned to TNA, I think it would be hard to split up the Machine Guns and keep everyone happy.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
They've ran their course. It's too bad TNA had to lose Shelley in the process. I'm not too bothered since he's found success elsewhere. If TNA uses Sabin well then I'll be a happy fan on all aspects.

I enjoy Shelley's work in Japan, from what I've seen he looks like he's having a lot more fun than he was in TNA so whatever floats his boat I guess. I really hope they have something in the works for Sabin and the rumours that he was planning to leave the company before his injury are fake.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
His loyalty continues to baffle me. I'll be a bit more hopeful upon his return. TNA has finally decided to make new stars and push the hard workers of the company, so fingers crossed he'll be next. And I'm not talking only a "whatever" X-Division Championship reign either. The way that division is, he's long past that.

His loyalty's probably due to TNA being the only company that really gave him a chance to be exposed in his early career and generally I've heard he's compliant with where he's at. In terms of how he's used, I think it'll depend purely on how well he's able to perform on his return. To me, he's always done better as a heel rather than a face and working a return angle against Roode seems unlikely now. I was thinking maybe they'd thinking about putting Sonjay and Sabin together as a tag team again since they badly need a face team that works well right now with two, possibly three very good heel tag teams. A run in the Bound For Glory Series would be cool.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Agreed, his heel work has greatly outshined his work as a face. Granted, I wouldn't be surprised if a plan vs Roode could show the world that as an underdog face he'd certainly play the role really well. He did vs Samoa Joe at No Surrender 2005. It's got potential.
A spot in the Bound For Glory series would be too good for words. He wouldn't win, but a good showing in all of the potential matches is enough. Beauty of that tournament has been all of the good/great matches it's given a bulk of the roster.
Wouldn't be into a team with Sonjay. Sonjay isn't even in the company as it is and he's long past tag team wrestling - as I said.

The underdog role would be kind of cool but it would be really tough if they keep Aries and Roode as a tag team which I hope they do. Would be a really interesting dynamic though.
As long as Sabin stays healthy, there's a good chance he'll be in the Bound For Glory Series. I don't know how well the Series will do this year though without the pay-per-views but the talent in this years could be amazing. I see it breaking down into something like this:
-Angle
-Aries
-Bully
-Daniels
-Joe
-Kazarian
-Magnus
-Morgan
-Roode
-Storm
-Sabin
-Styles
I'd also be fine with Sabin somehow winning the TV title and defending it on TV every week, as long as he gets decent time to work.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
If I get Morgan out of there and replaced by anyone else then I'd be down. I don't want Storm or Angle involved, but to think they wouldn't be would be asinine on my part.

They shouldn't have bothered even contracting Morgan again, but the series is the only way to make him still seem important.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Seems like the best way to show he's useless, don't enter him in it. I have a bad feeling Chavo could get a spot in the tournament.
