I actually watched these matches over a week ago, but seeing as I've just got my internet back after not having it for a week it delayed me posting my ratings.
Both matches were very enjoyable and AJ and Daniels were a awesome tag team. TNA's tag division, much like the overall product, was at it's peak in 2006.
Right on.
Curious to see how you take to Joe vs Steiner from Slammiversary. Not sure if I'm the only guy out there who really digs it.
Yeah they were. On the horizon was LAX. Little did we know how stellar they would be during that year.

I liked Joe's work in 05/06 so I might dig it.
LAX was awesome, I can't decide between LAX and AMW as my favourite TNA tag team of all time.
Speaking of TNA tag teams, am I the only one who liked The Rock 'n Rave infection? I like their gimmick, theme song and I thought Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave were solid competitors, they should of had a run with the belts imo.
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
As a guy who was big on both Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave, yeah, I was a fan. Gimmick was goofy, but it got two guys I marked for time in the sun. Can't see the logic in the world where the Prince Justice Brotherhood is fine, but Rock & Rave Infection wasn't.
Very random team when they first got paired up, Hoyt & Rave. They made it work well enough. Got some PPV matches I have fun watching. one being vs LAX. (see? it all comes back full circle)

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Made no difference to me. I was a fan of Rave prior so I knew what he could do and anything that got Hoyt used at the time was good enough for me. Not much positives I choose to say about 2008 in general from 2008. So much bleh.

They did. Out of the two, I preferred Jimmy Rave the most. I wasn't really familiar with his work before TNA, unlike you, but he often impressed me in the ring. I thought he could of made a good X division Champion in the company. Hoyt was a decent big man worker, I remember one match where he did a moonsault and It really surprised the 14/15 year old me at the time.
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Oh, I was pretty big on both guys. Rave was underrated among the impressive ROH roster during his time there and Hoyt was a standout in TNA during the time he was given a chance. So naturally both being paired together was enough to curry favor with myself.
Hoyt's moonsault~! Yeah that was boss. You seen his match vs Abyss from Sacrifice 2005? He busts out a Van Terminator. No lie.

How does that happen?
Probably didn't see enough in him as a personality on the mic. Also, when speaking of Rock n Rave, I also really enjoyed RnR vs LAX vs MCMG.
I re-watched Jarrett vs Christian from when Christian won the NWA title, and I don't know why, but I really enjoyed the match. What is the general consensus on Jarrett's on here?
