Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

I probably would have gone over *** for the match had it not been elimination. Once I found out it was, it screwed up a lot of shit I thought was good .

Also, not really a cheap plug . Not like its my BLOG~! and everyone can see it.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Like why would Roode screw Aries mid match to eliminate him when the plan to take out Hardy was nearing completion? I thought that minused a tad bit of logic there.

Well...a plug for me and those few who have been granted the ability to view. (yeah, yeah that works. ~!)

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Exactly lol. Before I knew it was elimination, I thought it was great. Hardy took fucking everything they threw at him and wouldn't give up. So Roode saw his chance to try and screw Aries and beat him instead. Liked it a lot. And then I found out it was elimination .

It's funny cuase everything else I read said pretty much every match was atleast solid besides Doc and Sting.

I guess I'm on the more positive side for the show, even though I thought the show was overall average. The tag title and DOC/Sting matches were particularly bad to me, but everything else was middle ground. I do still stand that Joe/Anderson was on the verge of getting somewhere towards the end before it ended (still like a **1/2 match with what we got), York/King was fun for what we got with the crowd at least being into it, Daniels/Storm was good, and the main was great. Nothing bad enough to loathe, nothing good enough to praise. Just a middle ground show. Probably the weakest PPV overall since No Surrender.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Roode's cheap attack and his attempt to quickly eliminate a 100% fresh opponent made perfect sense.

The only thing I didn't like about that match was Aries' completele no-sell of Roode's Fisherman Suplex.

At least those 3 gave us something worth seeing. Considering the curve of the show, that wasn't to be expected unless Joseph Park was involved. His match might be the most fun I'll have all year. PARK

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

TNA World Heavyweight Championship - Elimination Match
Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode
Genesis 2013

First off, shitty job by TNA at letting us know this was elimination. I had no idea until last night. This just really screamed average to me. Nothing to really get invested to at all when all 3 guys were in there. Couple decent spots but when it was just Aries & Roode taking turns it was kinda boring. Don't mind Roode trying to eliminate Aries quickly, makes sense but then they just left Hardy out by himself for 4 or 5 minutes when he was at his weakest point. The crowd basically died after that and didn't regain consciousness until the last 30 seconds, which was probably the best part of the match. Nothing special.

** 1/2

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

The fact that you've given it the lowest rating yet makes me wonder if you hated the event more than Cal or myself did.

Oh there's not a chance I'll be watching the rest of the show. Didn't look good on paper, seemingly came out worse after reading reviews.
