Remember when I said I was gonna watch Unbreakable about 2 months ago? I finished it tonight/this morning. We're prompt dudes.
The aries vs ray match was good but the ending was very disappointing in my opinions after ray kicked out of the brainbuster i thought the match would of and should of gone longer, i remember the commentators said after ray kicked out ' what can aries do to win this match' something along the lines of that, then like 10 seconds later he justs hits last chancery and ray taps out, i thought the match could of been like 5 minutes longer.

The real MOTY was roode vs storm at bound for glory, there story was much better than ray vs aries, i believe the story of david and goliath is one of the most used stories in wrestling, the roode vs storm story was two former best friends trying to kill each other in the ring, doing anything they have to in order to win, , the hatred in the whole match was there, the match performance was great and the ending was excellent with the beer bottle, what started and ended the feud, the blood added alot to the match aswell, with storm the story in the match was like im bleeding like hell but im still standing the only your gonna beat me is if you kill me. Thats why storm vs roode at bfg deserve match of the year.

I did want it to go longer. Nonetheless what was given was brilliant. Roode vs Storm doesn't even come close and it's the second most overrated match I've seen all year in the world of wrestling. I still like it though.

I think people a great blade job and some spots only to immediately think it was worth something special when it wasn't as good as it could have been, imo.

****1/2 for both Storm/Roode BFG and Aries/Ray Sacrifice.

They are my MOTYs.

I wished I could view Roode vs Storm as that good. I just don't see it. ***1/2 for me.

Top 5 seems to consist of:

Bully vs Aries - Sacrifice
Roode vs Aries - Destination X
Bully vs Park - Slammiversary
Roode vs Styles - Impact
Aries vs Joe - Slammiversary

I think I should give Hardy vs Aries a 4th watch. That could possibly knock Aries vs Joe off. The honorable mentions were plenty good and loads of fun too. Which only shows the improvement TNA brought to the majority of their PPVs this year.

Being over does not make somebody a good worker.

So essentially you dislike a babyface comeback? I mean because that's generally what Hardy does pretty well. So does Cena like you mentioned.

Besides Hardy in the world title picture is fine. It's not like he's been shoved down our throats much this year. He spent most of the middle of the year in forgettable feuds with RVD and Anderson. Considering his name and the merch he sells it's not hard to see why they wouldn't give him the belt. Plus his stuff with Aries was some of the best he's done in years. Having him and a past it RVD work X Division matches would probably be more insulting than Abyss getting the belt.

I loved Roode/Storm BFG on a first watch. I need to see how it holds up but I don't think it was MOTY for me anyway.

oh yeah and Aries/Ray should've went longer. Absolutely echo that.

Hardy vs Aries is pretty good in my opinion two consistent matches at bfg and turning point i'd rate it better than at least aries vs joe on your list, i had my doubts when they put jeff hardy as champion, but his put 3 good ppv matches in a row, but the build ups havent been the best.

I'd maybe have Aries/Hardy BFG on the same level as Aries/Joe but I enjoyed Aries/Joe more from a personal standpoint. Bunch of fun with some nice callbacks to their ROH bout iirc. BFG match was the best thing Hardy's done in YEARS

Turning Point match was a fun watch but it never clicked for me. Liked the usage of ladders and stuff but i wouldn't call it a MOTYC.

and i also just watched bully vs joseph park, whats so special about it, storytelling is something in wrestling but when theres no action involved in means nothing,i mean whats so special about that match, you see bully slap joseph for a few minutes, bully puts on some offence, bully hits a few chair shots, then joseph comes back with some punches, then abyss comes out and puts bully through the table, whats so special about that honestly?

yeah aries vs joe was pretty good i think they should have made it longer, they should feud for the world title next year, i'd probably rate it this way aries vs hardy bfg first then aries vs joe second and the ladder match third out of that list you said, i agree with you for the ladder match in some aspects a few innovative stuff so i enjoyed it.
