So long story short this is without a doubt the worst TNA PPV in their 10 year history.

They're both pretty shitty but I actually really liked AJ/Matt plus Ultimate X wasn't bad. Either way though, they're bottom of the barrel.

5? 3D vs. Nasty Boys + maybe Foley vs. Abyss, that's it. Did you just give DUDs for Anderson winning a match or what?

Nah. That has the taint of TNA looking like the worst wrestling promotion ever with the main event, but I'd still give the nudge to AAO.

Anderson only had one DUD so check your facts. Matt Morgan was the shit magnet on the show. Which is expected since he's exactly that. Shit.

I'd argue Turning Point 2010 & 2011 were both at least on par. Granted on the former, you at least had MCMG/3D. The latter had essentially no redeeming quality thanks to an injured AJ. Also can't go without mentioning Destination X 2009 or 05.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Yeah. Turning Point 2010 is pretty bad pardon Guns vs 3D. Hardy vs Morgan might be my least favorite main event from a TNA PPV that doesn't include Hardy vs Sting. Hate that shitty RVD vs Dreamer match too.

Destination X 2005 = ugh. Best match is the main event at only **3/4. 2009 is lol worthy although it managed to have at least two fun matches (Ultimate X & Styles vs Booker) But/ by the time you get there you already had to stomach such classics as Abyss vs Morgan, Kong vs Bolt, & Joe vs Steiner with the whole murder segment. It was done by that time.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

I just realised I never actually posted my thoughts on the last PPV. Better late than never I guess:

Turning Point 2012

Joe/Magnus - ***1/4-1/2
EY/ODB vs Jessie/Tara - * (fun tho)
RVD/Ryan - *1/2
Doc/PARK - ***
WTTCOTW/LAX3.0 - **
3-way - ***1/4
DEVON/Kurt - *1/2
Aries/Hardy - ***3/4

Joe & Magnus was . Great psychology between the two knowing each other inside out, had all you could ask for in an opener. Great nearfalls and finishing stretch too, I thought Magnus had it on the second elbow and Joe's face after the muscle buster was beyond awesome.

arks might be the greatest performer on the roster atm. Superb character display in his match with the split personalities and the way he makes it seem like he's never wrestled in his life. Trying to run the ropes was

How long has Hernandez had his NAME tattooed on his back? The fact that this is what I recall most from the match probably speaks volumes. Chavo's awful frog splash still continues to annoy me.

3 way was fun but never really had "it". Thought the guys were capable of more but I agreed with the result.

Devon/Kurt was so fucking boring. Next.

Hardy died in this match. That one bump where Aries just SHOVES the ladder away and Hardy crumples to the floor was sickening. I liked the constant breaking of the ladders and Aries raising the belts, felt like they tried to freshen up the stale ladder match formula. These two have real good chemistry.

Finally caught up with impact earlier. Meh @ Roode now being no 1 contender for NO RAISIN. Why not have him pin AJ? Also the MAGDADDY . Aries/Bully II sticks out the most from the FR lineup. Nothing to be super hyped over.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

LOL I'm watching AAO10 now (I'll review it when I'll finish) and I seriously don't see what's so bad so far.. I enjoyed the opener, Morgan vs Hernandez was good for it was and told a pretty nice story and the finish made sense even if it was weak and Anderson vs Angle was really good and another match that had purpose. Everyone thinks the show sucked or..?

Exactly. It's not a very good show and definitely no must-see, but nowhere near as bad as Hailsabin and others in this thread say it was.
