Davey Richards vs. Kurt Angle, 1hr Ironman. Book it someone, so we can get another "official" five star epic classic technical gym match.

It's so ghastly I can't even go along with the joke.

3 Ken Anderson matches on on PPV = FUCK
Seriously, don't waste your time with that. I handed out so many DUDs on that show. So much blandness. Joe/AJ is the only thing above ***.

The only DUD I can remember is Team 3D/Nasty Boyz, everything else was at least **+. But yeah, not a very good PPV. Just solid.

I'm gonna hopefully get a copy of Against All Odds 2005 tomorrow so I should be able to relive the first Ironman between the two. I have a gut feeling it might not hold up though. Love their second one from Bound For Glory. Although, that deserves another watch from me so I can tag with a steady snowflake. It will probably remain ***3/4 - **** as it already is.

Sacrifice 2009 was actually a solid PPV. I use that as the measuring stick for the year. Especially since the 4 PPVs before it are SO poor. It was diamond in the rough style. Slammiversary 2009 deserves a mention too. Only bad matches on my mind were Daniels/Douglas & Sting/Morgan. Which as you can read was "talented guy vs old hack" & "old legend who's decent vs young hack". Tag titles, the AWESOME inter-gender Monster's Ball, & X Division King of the Mountain were enough to put that PPV into a good pile for me.
I initially was cuckoo over the DX 11 one then on re-watch, AJ just seemed very off his game which took me out of the match.

Sacrifice was a fun show. Only issue was the booking with endings that hurt pretty much every single match on the card. Slammiversary was fine overall as well.

I was probably just angry at the shittyness, honestly. Can't find my old review but I think I threw one at an Anderson match and maybe Hernandez/Morgan. Who knows.

I own it. I'll watch it at least once. Better or worse get an analysis on it and move on.

Went with a rewatch instead, Hard Justice 2008. Everything is the same per usual, except for Styles/Angle. Didn't hold up AGAIN. Hard to believe I had that at 4 stars when I first saw it. Now it can't even break 3. I'm so fed up with the bulk of Kurt Angle matches in TNA.

It holds up for me. It seemed to flow better after my last watch. 28 minutes didn't drag like it used to as the previous viewings did.

Only booking part that I can recall as a flaw that hurt something was the Monster's Ball with Daffney vs Taylor Wilde. Starts off fine, actually is working, then it abruptly ends. Was frustrating. They teased us for what would lead in to the eventual tag at Slammiversary. I'm seriously considering purchasing Sacrifice 09 as part of the sale on TNAwrestling.com. Enjoy the show far too much to pass it up.
