Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
My Top 10 Matches in TNA History
1. Joe/Styles/Daniels-Unbreakable 05-*****
2. Styles/Daniels-Ironman Match-AAO 05-*****
3. AMW/XXX-Six Sides Of Steel-Turning Point 04-*****
4. Joe/Styles-Turning Point 05-****3/4-*****
5. Styles/Joe/Sabin-Ultimate X-Final Resolution 05-****3/4
6. Styles/Abyss-Six Sides Of Steel-Lockdown 05-****1/2
7. Lynn/Low Ki/Styles/Psicosis-Double Elimination-TNA Weekly 02-****1/2
8. Joe/Styles-Sacrifice 05-****1/2
9. Joe/Angle-Turning Point 06-****1/2
10.LAX vs Styles/Daniels-Ultimate X-No Surrender 06-****1/2
I just thought this up on the fly, so there could be room for adjusting. But the top 5 is pretty much set in stone.
There are atleast 2-3 Daniels/Joe matches that are atleast ****1/4 that could be on here. Also Joe/Sabin, Harris/Storm, AMW/XXX(The first cage match), Ki/Styles/Lynn Ladder Match, KOTM 07, AJ/Styles/Joe II, and many other that are close.
Looking at this list, AJ Styles is an 8 of these 10 matches. That is just incredible.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Nice list Taroo. No shock that 6 out of the 10 are from 2005 seeing how 2005 was above and beyond TNA's best year.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Definitely, easily TNA's best year. I miss the 2005 TNA, it really was awesome.
I need to watch Styles/Joe again pretty soon cause I'm pretty damn close to going for the full 5*, I don't remember there being any reason not to.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah that is also a very good match, it would definitely be in the top 20 but just not quite in the top 10.
Another match that just missed the top 10 for me is AMW/Team Canada from Final Resolution 05. That is one of the most underrated matches in TNA history and in wrestling in general IMO.
Another match that probably isn't as highly rated by some people but I really love is the BFG 4 way with Shelley/Strong/Aries/Dutt. I know it was just a pre-show match and all, but that match is awesome.(Probably would also be in the top 20 as well)

Looks like a great list. I haven't watched most of these matches in ages so I can't really make a list of my own. The only match I'd add is Harris vs Storm (Sacrifice) ****1/2 - 3/4.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
One of my favorites: Bound For Glory 2006. Keep in mind that I don't like star ratings.
Undercard
Paparazzi Championship Series - Entertaining, Nash's commentary was pure gold.
3D/AMW/James Gang/Naturals - Average
Midcard
Joe/Runt/Abyss/Raven - Solid, Enjoyed It.
Young/Zbysko - Pissbreak
Uppercard
Sabin/Senshi - Damn. Just Damn. One of the most underrated matches of 2006. Definite MOTYC.
Cage/Rhino - Another underrated match. These 2 put on a clinic. Good fight, Good Chemistry.
Phenominal-Angels/LAX - My favorite match of the show, both teams work real well together. Strong match. Real strong.
Jarrett/Sting - This had a HUGE feel to it. The importance of the match really felt like it was up there. Good showing from both, and Sting winning was a great touch with the new look.
This was a really good show, and the crowd was into it the entire way. Worth every dollar I spent when I ordered.
