Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Just watched the 20 man X-division gauntlet from Victory Road 2004. Really fun match, just brainless non-stop action. There were some cool entrants like La Parka and Matt Sydal (Evan Bourne). Some cool spots like the 630 and a very big tower of doom. Thought the wrong men won, it made kind of sense since Hector Garza was the team captain for team Mexico but I thought Kaz needed to go over.

Going to watch the rest of the ppv later this day. Got the Epic Set yesterday so going to have some fun watching it.

NWA-TNA - Weekly PPV - 12/2/03

1. The Rock & Roll Express vs America's Most Wanted
**1/2
Was much better then i expected and good to see the Perfectplex used...

2. The Harris Brothers vs The New Church
*1/2

3. NWA-TNA X-Division Title Match
Sonny Siaki vs Kid Kash
**3/4

4. Ron Killings, Jorge Estrada & Tenacious Z vs Mike Sanders, BG James & Glen Gilbertti
**

5. Low Ki vs Steve Corino
**3/4
How could TNA drop the ball so badly with Corino. Surely he would've been perfect as a Face for the anti SEX group.

6. No 1 Contenders Match for the X-Division Title 8 Man Gauntlet
Shark Boy vs Jose Maximo vs Joel Maximo vs David Young vs Tony Mamaluke vs Jimmy Rave vs Paul London vs Jerry Lynn
***

7. Falls Count Anywhere
Raven vs The Sandman
**

It's a pretty good match and probably the best King of the Mountain ever. It's worked well with all of those who are involved and I feel the right guy at the time won. But the finish sucked from what I can remember of it (Harris spearing Christian, but leaves Angle on the ladder to win, WTF?).

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Found a deal for Final Resolution, BFG, No Surrender, and Victory Road all SEALED and all '07 for $15 plus $5 S&H. Worth it?

Edit: Also found DX, Genesis, Slammy, Lockdown, Final Resolution, and Turning Point all '06 for $17 plus $7 S&H and Turning Point '05, Sacrifice '08, Lockdown '08, BFG '05 and DX '08 for $16 plus $7 S&H. Both deals are also sealed.

Any of these good deals?

Turning Point 2005 is worth every penny for the flawless AJ vs. Joe match.

James Storm vs. Chris Harris - Texas Death Match - Sacrifice 2007

Was not expecting this to be as brilliant as it was, yes, I used the word brilliant. Their match at Lockdown of the same year sucked balls, the Blindfold Six Sides Of Steel match, yeah, that one, so I wasn't expecting anything to come of this one. Gladly, I was proved wrong for this one. Fantastic match, worth a watch from any TNA fan imo. ****

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

Yea that's a classic. Harris really was an exceptional talent. It's a shame he became so fat, greedy and unmotivated. He's probably kicking himself, Roode's push could've easily been eventually his.

Mayorga on BJ: Real men fight- maricons roll on ground and wrestle. Boxeo is número UNO! Tell BJ to box me- after I KO him, I will put him not in a body bag but in a condom so he can think that’s where he shud have stayed

Mayorga on facing Vargas: I'm going to give Vargas the chance to cash his last paycheck. I would like to say publicly that Fatty Vargas has always feared me. I conceded to take this fight at 162 pounds because fatty couldn't lose any more weight. I will do Vargas a favor by retiring him in this fight so his family doesn't have to suffer every time he steps in the ring. I'm going to do his wife a favor and not let her cry anymore.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

I Recommend Destination X 2007: the LAX/3-D match was the best of their series, Senshi/Starr was pretty good, Rhino/Styles was surprisingly good, Steiner/Angle was a dream match, and the main event was fantastic.

Plus, watching Sting/Abyss is like watching a crappy sequel that you still love
