Does anyone know if there's actual matches on Immortal Forever? TNA's awful with advertising their dvds or even giving details on them...

I feel like AJ/Daniels would've been better if there was more on the line and more of a fued going on. The 'fued' was like 'there's an x division ppv, so lets have a match'. Nothing to get emotionally invested into.

Besides the "Reaction" style doc some of the matches (not all are in their entirety) are:

AJ Styles/Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan & Abyss from an episode of Impact
Team Flair vs. Team Hogan from Lockdown 2010
Sting vs. Jeff Hardy for the title from 2011 Impact
Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett "match" from Sacrifice 2010
Abyss vs. Rhino from No Surrender 2010
Hardy/Angle/Anderson from BFG 2010
Hardy vs. Anderson "match" from Genesis 2011
Hardy vs. Anderson Ladder Match from AAO 2011

Well, that just looks terrible. They actually could've made this a decent set as far as matches go with a few additions like AJ/Matt from Victory Road or Angle/Jeff from No Surrender.

TNA - Immortal Forever

Impact 3/8/2010 - No Disqualification
Ric Flair & AJ Styles vs. Hulk Hogan & Abyss - *

Lockdown 2010 - Lethal Lockdown
Team Hogan (Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy & RVD) vs. Team Flair (Sting, Desmond Wolfe & Beer Money Inc.) - **1/2

Sacrifice 2010
Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting - DUD (Nothing but a beat down)

No Surrender 2010 - Falls Count Anywhere
Rhino vs. Abyss - **

Bound For Glory 2010 - TNA World Heavyweight Title
Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Kurt Angle - ***

Genesis 2011 - TNA World Heavyweight Title
Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson - **

Against All Odds 2011 - TNA World Heavyweight Title - Ladder Match (clipped)
Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson - **

Impact 3/3/11 - TNA World Heavyweight Title
Jeff Hardy vs. Sting - **

The ReAction style documentary is hit or miss, but all of the match selections are sub-par except for the BFG title match. Couldn't really be helped though because besides the random Abyss/Rhino match all the matches in some why further the story, it's just that it and the matches aren't good. Plus there are eye-rolling moments like Dixie’s speech to the troops before Hogan came in, Abyss torturing and branding two people, Abyss kidnapping Dixie and Murphy punching out Serge Carter (Don’t Be A Hero!).

Destination X

Austin Aries vs Zema Ion vs Low Ki vs Jack Evans ****1/4

Awesome match, great spots and remarkable selling too. TNA's MOTY, that's for sure. Bring back LOW KI!

Did your rating for Aj/Bully go down on the 2nd watch as well?

Yes. I have it at ***3/4 now, lol. Ray's too obvious and too fake climbing on the table, and botched ending with AJ's counting ruined the match little bit for me. But still, I find it to be great. But not MOTYC.

Has there been any other super notable matches from TNA this year? I really can only think of the 4 way and AJ/Ray. Granted there has been some solid stuff (MCMG/Beer money at genesis, angle/jarrett at AAO, aj/hardy at VR), the fact that I can only think of one great match and one very good match 7 months into a year is not a good sign.

Yep, I felt the same.

You pretty much named them all. The only one I'd throw in would be Angle/Jarrett from Lockdown, but plenty of people have shit on it because of the botches.
