Was looking over some Jeff Hardy 2010 stuff so I was wondering what do you guys think his best match in 2010 was? Myself, I would probably say RVD/Jeff vs. Beer Money.

Gotta go with Jeff Hardy vs Kurt Angle from No Surrender. Probably Hardy's best wrestling match ever.

I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet, but I highly, highly, highly doubt it has the beautiful storytelling of HHH vs. Jeff at No Mercy.

I would say it is below that one but it is easily his best non-gimmick match since that match.

Just my thoughts on the Bound For Glory main events.

Bound For Glory 2005
Jeff Jarrett vs Rhino
match rating: 1/2*

The main event was supposed to be Kevin Nash against Jarrett, but that did not turn out as planned so they had a battle royal instead to determine the new number 1 contender. Rhino won and this was now his third match on the ppv. The match is 5 minutes long and its just Jarett taking some shots on Rhino, until Rhino finally hits the Gore to become the new TNA world champion. I did not expect anything else since Rhino put on a hell of a show in the night and was tired. This is a good moment, but the actual match sucked. Not worthy to close their biggest ppv of the year.

Bound For Glory 2006
Sting vs Jeff Jarrett
match rating: ***

This match was built up for a year. It really felt huge. Kurt Angle was also the special enforcer. Sting also came back after not being seen for months and he looked great. The actual match was very old school. Jarrett dominates a lot and then Sting finally makes his comeback. The last few minutes are pretty awesome. Sting wins the match in about 15 minutes and Jarrett is gone from TNA for a few years. This is not an amazing match but it did what it was supposed to do, and that was to entertain and provide a great ending to a great storyline. This in my opinion was worthy of closing out BFG. especially with such a stacked card.

Bound For Glory 2007
Sting vs Kurt Angle
match rating: ***3/4

The match was builp up for about a month but it was built up well. It was a dream match for a lot of people. This was the best match in Sting's TNA career easilly. Angle really brought out the best in him. The crowd is great. The wrestling is awesome. Angle did some great moves like a 450 knee splash that looked like it hurt Sting a lot. At the end Sting bleed's and Kevin Nash tries to help Angle but Sting still manages to win the match. Good quality match up and by this point, it was easilly the best mainn event they had given us at Bound For Glory. This ppv in my opinion is also the best ppv TNA has ever given us. A lot of really great matches are on here.

Bound For Glory 2008
Samoa Joe vs Sting
match rating: ***

This match is crazy. They brawl for the first ten minutes on the outside. It is a decent brawl and then Samoa joe does somethign amazing. He jumps of a balcony and kicks Sting in the face. Did I forget to mention that joe ends up landing with his spine on the steps. The move really has to be seen. they return to the ring and do each other's finisers but nothing. Joe then just starts to dominate Sting. He just destroys him. Then guess who shows up? Kevin Nash again and he costs Samoa Joe the title. I was actually expecting something like Angle/Sting since both Angle and Joe are great wrestlers but this match still was not bad for what it was. The crowd also really helped the match out a lot. It is too bad we never got a real rematch between these guys, as far as I know that is.

Bound For Glory 2009
AJ Styles vs Sting
match rating: ***1/4

At this point I was sick of Sting in the main event of BFG, but everyone thought he would retire and pass the torch to AJ here so nobody complained too much. The match itself is about 13 minutes long. It is fast paced. I mean really fast paced. Both men do some great moves. It looks like the match might reach that classic level if they keep going like this, and it just ends out of nowhere. AJ hits a splash of the ropes and thats it. No Styles Clash, no 450 splash, no awesome move, but a freaking splash. Ehhh, even though the ending kind of sucked, the match is still great in my opinion. It really kills 15 minutes nicely. It is too bad that Sting does not retire and is back in TNA just a few months later.

Bound For Glory 2010
Kurt Angle vs Mr. Anderson vs Jeff Hardy
match rating: ****

This is actually my favorite BFG main event they have done. The build up was not amazing. The championship was vacant and they had a tournament. Angle and Hardy had a draw, and Anderson won it. The match itself was awesome. It lasts about 20 minutes and it is just non stop action. All 3 men bring their A game on. There are some great moves performed here and a lot of good near falls. Everyone really busts their ass off. At the end HArdy turns heel and wins the match. The crowd is not hapy and they start to throw crap in the ring. I liked how this BFG ended with a heel winning, so its not always a face closing out the show. This match also set up a few pretty big angles for the next few months. I really wonder how awesome this match would have been if they had had just 5 more minutes.

Angle vs. Sting was just an Impact match. Smoke-and-mirrors nonsense.

They gave away Sting/Jarrett two months before BFG 06 so I still consider that match to be a joke. It should have been Joe/Jarrett at that show with Joe winning the belt without question. The match itself was fine, but I hate the turnout.

I really do not care for that Joe/Sting match either. The balcony dive still stands as one of the dumber spots I have seen due to how stupid it was. Not to mention Joe squashed Sting the whole match while Sting lost to two moves and a baseball bat shot.

It's very mediocre. Not a fan of documentaries anymore because so much gets left out of them, but I'd wait for a WWE produced Sting set if you wanna watch a Sting documentary.
