Against All Odds 2005

Petey Williams vs. "Primetime" Elix Skipper - **

BG James & Jeff Hammond vs. Michael Shane & Kazarian - 1/2*

Raven vs. Dustin Rhodes - DUD
After watching Dustin's shitbag performance I'm amazed at how he made a comeback as Goldust.

NWA World Tag Team Title Match
America's Most Wanted(c) vs. Kid Kash & Lance Hoyt - ***1/2
This was surprisingly really good, but the ending was dumb.

Full Metal Mayhem
"The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy vs. "The Monster" Abyss - *1/4
I won't even begin to talk about what was wrong with ths match. Shit was laughable.

DDP & Monty Brown vs. Team Canada(Eric Young & Bobby Roode) - *3/4

X Divsion Championship - 30 Minute Iron Man Match
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles(c) vs. "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels - ****1/2

NWA World Heavyweight Championship
"The King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett(c) vs. "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash - **1/4
"That's a cello!" hahaha. Your usual TNA main event with 67 run ins and ref bumps that all make no sense and it should've been a DQ 8 times. But hey, it was fun.

Overall: 5/10
And I'm probably being generous.

Probably their worst show of 2005 and it was still rather watchable in my opinion. It had a lot to follow after Turning Point and Final Resolution

I thought Destination X was significantly worse between the Monty Brown heel turn, Harris Bros/Phi Delta Slam, Kip/Nash, Monty/Trytan, etc/. With that said, both of those shows were easily the worst out of '05.

There are no reason to get them either thanks to Best of the X Division Vol. 1.

Turning Point 2009

Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe

****

The TNA debut of Wolfe on PPV. What a great showing for him. I loved this match, it was a solid, back and forth match that built up to its finish. Both guys looked great and got in equal amounts of offense. You got some nice counter holds and striking, some submissions, your finishers, and a little high flying action. I loved that there were no weapons, no ref bump, no interference, just 2 guys competing trying to get the win. I think it got the perfect amount of time, and was a great of a PPV debut that Wolfe could've gotten.

It's probably the most psychologically sound of Angle's TNA matches.

Against All Odds 2008

TNA World Tag Team Title Match
AJ Styles & Tomko(c) vs. BG James & "Bullet" Bob Armstrong - 1/4*
The match time was 7:45, which in my estimate made it about 7 and a half minutes too long.

Traci Brooks vs. Payton Banks - *1/2

Case vs. Case - Winner Takes All
Scott Steiner vs. Petey Williams - *3/4
Quite the historic moment in this one, the debut of Rhaka Khan...

World Beer Drinking Championship Match
Eric Young(c) vs. James Storm - **1/4

Knockouts Title Match
Awesome Kong(c) vs. ODB - *1/4

Barbed Wire Massacre 2
Abyss vs. Judas Mesias - ***1/4

Booker T vs. Robert Roode - **
The match was actually going fairly well until the god awful ending. Stupid decision, should've been on impact.

X Divsion Championship 6-Man Street Fight
Team 3D & Johnny Devine(c) vs. Black Machismo & The Motor City Machine Guns - ***
Seriously, what was even the point of having the Guns in the match? They were completely absent from the last 5 minutes of the match and the whole thing was centered around Lethal. Even after the match, Sabin and Shelley have just vanished completely.

TNA World Heavyweight Title Match - Special Enforcer: Samoa Joe
Kurt Angle(c) vs. Christian Cage - ***3/4
Let's see. A ref bump, interference from 4 people, the use of a foreign object, and a non-clean finish. Yep, it's a TNA main event. Erase the unneccessary booking and it really could've been an excellent match. Very good despite that though.

Overall: 6/10
Look past the main event and the hardcore stuff and the rest is just downright god awful. And the 3 good matches are nowhere near enough to overshadow the rest.
