Jarrett hasnt booked TNA since early 2005. He gave the books to Dusty. Since then it has bounced between multiple bookers in groups. But yeah, I dont get Jarretts woody for Russo. I think its because Russo gave him a huge push in wcw. Sadly for Jarrett, Russo completley shit all over wcw in 2000 and Jarrett didnt get to truly evolve into a main eventer like he should have.

Some more BFG matches:

Christian/Joe ****1/2
Angle/Sting ***3/4 (without the crazy interference at the end it could've been ****1/2 easily)
Booker/AJ/Christian ***1/4
Jarrett/Angle ****1/4
Full Metal Mayhem ***3/4 (Scott Steiner gets ***** for how awesome he was in that match)
Angle/Morgan ****

What would everyone say was the best PPV of 2009? I kind of went on a wrestling hiatus after Genesis

WF's first official Mike Bennett mark

The last 3 ppvs of year (BFG, TP, FR) were all really good.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

TNA had a lot of great ppvs in 2009. If I had to name them all, I would definitely say Lockdown, Slammiversary, Turning Point, and Final Resolution.

But in my opinion, the best was Lockdown, if you can get past the so-so main event. After that, is definitely Turning Point.

Favorite Matches of All Time

1. Triple-Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit - WrestleMania XX

2. Career Threatening Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair - WrestleMania XXIV

3. WWE Championship: John Cena vs. CM Punk - Money in the Bank 2011

4. No Holds Barred Match: The Undertaker vs. Triple H - WrestleMania XXVII

5. WWF Championship: Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior - WrestleMania VI

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread

BFG 2009 was pretty damn awful - aside from Foley/Abyss, AJ/Sting and Morgan/Angle it was utter garbage. Morgan vs Angle dissapointed me in that Morgan didn't go over. He was hot as hell at the time and they missed a good chance to give him the ball.

Turning Point 2009 was much the same. The entire undercard stank but it was saved by Angle/Wolfe and AJ/Joe/Daniels. People really overrate this PPV and that entire 3-month period because of the main-event scene.

Final Resolution 2009, again, poor. MCMG/British Invasion was a good match, but as usual the rest of the undercard was bad. Wolfe/Angle and AJ/Daniels made it passable, as did the fact that there was only one Knockouts match instead of the two that they used to have each month.

The scary thing is that they were three of the better shows from 2009.
