Rob Van Dam vs. A.J Styles-Sacrifice 2010

Pretty good match but I felt they could've done much better with the amount of time they had. Took way too long to get going at the start and long periods would be spent with Van Dam catching his breath but I suppose it's understandable since this was probably his first "long" match in ages. But Jesus, he looked gassed at the end! Most of the action was crisp, in particular A.J's sell on the Monkey Flip. I doubt you could go any higher from a move like that. The Lethal/Flair stuff was really unnecessary and should've been reserved for iMPACT, but it didn't really taint the match. Crowd were great for the whole match.

Daniels vs. Styles for the TNA Championship, Final Resolution 09

**** 1/4

I really, really enjoyed this match. Great action, great heel work and back isolation from Daniels. Got a good amount of time too. One of my favorite TNA matches in recent times. I don't really see why this match doesn't get talked about much, I feel it was definitely match of the night. Really awesome stuff here, highly enjoyed it.

Now I have to watch AAO 10' to finish out the 3 pack DVD set. Then i'm gonna get Slammiversary, Sacrifice, and Unbreakable 05 before they disappear again!

I think the reason it doesn't get talked about it as much is because it's overshadowed 1) by the 3-way between Styles, Joe, and Daniels at Turning Point a month earlier and 2) by the two Styles/Daniels Iron Man matches from 2005, which are better matches. Seeing them fight for the world title is a dream come true, though.

Agreed. Why they put Sabin getting squashed by the gladiator Brutus Magnus is beyond me. They should have put more iMPACT! matches on there. Is it safe to say that someone buying a 2-disc set for Beer Money and MCMG probably ALREADY owns Lockdown, Slammiversary, and Bound for Glory?!?

Like I said, I wish they had focused more of the Guns portion of the DVD on their tag team matches and not on singles matches & X Division spotfests that they happened to be in.

Well with the way they've booked the Guns I don't know how many long tag matches they've been in recently. Though just off the top of my head better matches would have been the Guns vs. Speed Muscle in the World Cup preview, Guns vs. Beer Money in the ppv they squared off in (can't remember which one) and the X-Division KOTM, which was better then all the other spotfests they put on there (Cuffed in the Cage? Really?). And I have no idea why they put the AAO 08 match on, it was good but it was all about Lethal overcoming the odds to save the X-Division and the Guns disappeared halfway through.

Agreed, I thought this match was better than most of the AJ vs Angle series.
