Not too surprising considering Styles was involved. Still has a lot to learn.

Shannon Moore vs. Kazarian-iMPACT! 12/04/10

Bell rings and we get some great quick-faced wrestling that we've become accustomed to in the X-Division. Kaz keeps Moore grouded with a headlock for a while but Moore eventually gets out of it. Both men work the arm and both men have counters every time. Moore then leaves the arm completely and leg drops Kaz in the face.

Moore hits a nice cross body off the top but he loses momentum when Kaz sends Moore to ringside. Things move back into the ring and Doug Williams comes to the commentary booth. This is distracting Kaz and it helps Moore get back to his feet. Kaz again has a counter to slow down Moore.

Moore gets a comeback going and has a counter for Kaz's counter. Moore hits some nice spin kicks and they head to ringside. Kaz elevated Moore to the apron, who hit a moonsault to Kaz with both men crashing to the floor. Moore nearly got it after a flying hurrancanranna. Williams is complaining about the guys always going for the top rope.

Both guys had some nice nearfalls but reverted to quick pins near the end, the bell rings and it's a time limit draw.

Winner: -Draw-

A really nice TV match which would have been even better with a little bit more time but I suppose 10 Mins. is alot for an iMPACT match. There's lots and lots of nice unique counters here as well as some sweet spots. Both men came out looking strong heading into Lockdown. This match showed me that Moore isn't just in TNA to collect a paycheck and Kaz looked as good as ever, I miss seeing the Flux Capacitator though.

Jeff Hardy vs. Robert Roode-iMPACT! 12/04/10

Bell rings as things start out slow but once Hardy spits in Roode's face, things get going. Hardy is able to counter whatever Roode's doing and it's pissing him off which leaves him making even more mistakes. Hardy gets a nearfall after a front dropkick. He calls for a Twist of Fate but Roode rolls to the floor.

Roode drags Hardy to ringside and brings Hardy down to Roode's pace. When they get back in the ring Roode gets a nearfall after a high knee off the top. Roode continues wearing down Hardy but the crowd are well behind Jeff. Both men trade rights and Hardy wins out, hitting a front facebuster.

Hardy catches Roode off guard with a Whisper in the Wind and gets a nearfall. Hardy calls for a Twist of Fate but Roode hits a sick looking Spinebuster, getting a nearfall. Hardy stuns Roode but Storm interferes as he goes to the top, Hardy fights him off and hits a Swanton Bomb before Storm can stop it. 3 count.

After the match Storm beats down on Hardy and hits a lethal fireball in Hardy's face. RVD comes to the rescue but Beer Money take out RVD.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

I can't say I liked this match alot, it was pretty short but it was good for it's length. It seemed like it had the start of a beginning and then headed into the end stretch. Can't really say alot about it, great crowd, solid action but nothing more than an average TV match, I'd really love to see a PPV match between the two though.

Slammiversary 2007

LAX vs Rhino/Senshi-***1/2 (I forgot how great this was, one of TNA's more exciting openers ever)
Lethal/Sabin-***1/2 (Another great match, Lethal's title win went over huge in Nashville)
Lynn/Wycheck vs Truth/Storm-**1/2 (This really was better than it should've been, Wycheck was ok for a non wrestler)
Backlund/Shelley-1/2* (Terrible to watch again, such a shame that Shelley was jobbed out here)
VKM/Bashams-* (Another pointless feud from this era, bad match as well)
EY/Roode-*** (Nice little match that told a good story, thought the restart was kind of dumb)
3D/Animal & Rick Steiner-*3/4 (Crowd was into it 1st, but it wasn't very much)
Daniels/Sting-**1/4 (This was good while it lasted, if they gave them 15-20 minutes it could've been special)
Abyss/Tomko-***1/2 (Physical brutal war that really got over, not some people's cup of tea but this was a straight war)
Styles/Cage/Joe/AJ/Harris-****1/4 (Definitely the best KOTM so far, one of the best paced matches I've ever seen. Finish is the only thing that stops me from going higher)

One of the more up and down TNA shows I can think of, definitely two sides of the coin throughout the show. There was some really good stuff, some great stuff, and some downright terrible stuff. But I liked more than I didn't and the Nashville crowd was one of the best TNA's ever had. 7.5/10

I just bought Lockdown 08, and Bound For Glory 08 off of Ebay. Should be here by next week. First TNA Dvds I've purchased in a long time. Looking forward to getting them, they seem like two solid shows, and I haven't seen either one.

Lockdown was just okay. The X Division match was good, but nothing special, Lethal Lockdown wasn't as good as the one from '06 and '07, but better than the ones from '09 and '10, and Joe/Angle was solid, but overall disappointing. The rest of the show seemed better suited for iMPACT!: Queen of the Cage was filler, Road Dogg/Mr. Ass was crap and about 8 years late, Cuffed in the Cage was overbooked Russo crap, and then there were TWO tag team matches. 2008 before BFG was not a good year for TNA PPVS.

Bound for Glory 2008, however was quite good. Not as good as the show from '07, better than the show from '09, and about as good as the show from '06 (2005 seemed like a different company overall, so I can't really compare).

The steel asylum match was solid, Bashir/Creed was good, the 3-way women's match was also solid, the four-way tag team match was fun, Booker/Christian/Styles was watcahble but not groundbreaking, and Jarrett/Angle was MOTYC for me. I love, love, love that match. Joe/Sting was intense, but not really a good match. The only con of the show was the "bimbo brawl," which belonged on iMPACT!.

Overall, good purchases.

I haven't heard anything about that, what's your source?

I bought those two because of a couple reasons.

1) Haven't bought any TNA DVD in a long long time, and was in the mood to purchase an event or 2.

2) I was trying to stick to shows that were held outside of Orlando.

3) I've been wanting to check out Angle/Joe from LD, as I've heard various things about this one. I also really wanted to check out Jarrett/Angle, and Joe/Sting.

The D-X DVD coming out looks ok, I might get it just because of the X division history extra, and the fact that it's only available through shoptna, once they sell out theres no telling how difficult it will be to find a copy once im ready to buy it. Similar to Sacrifice 05, Unbreakable 05, and No Surrender 05.

Come one, let it go. It's not like he's up and fighting. He's up and dazed only for the Pope to hit him with the double knee facebreaker. Couldn't AJ just get up by instinct after a hard imppact?

This section is dead haha.

I watched Lockdown 08, thought it was a decent show. Angle/Joe was a bit different, but I thought it was enjoyable. Not a bad deal for the 8 bucks I spent for it.

I went and bought the "Cross The Line" 3 pack set from Best Buy today. It has Turning Point, Final Resolution, and Against All Odds 09, all for 15 bucks. Not a bad deal at all imo.

Also, Bound For Glory 08 came in today aswell, so I have 4 shows now that I haven't seen before, should be some great shows, the cards are pretty stacked for all 4 events.
