I'm not a big fan of Bret/Kid i have it at *** 1/4 which is probably the lowest rating you'll ever see for it. The action zone tag bout is awesome **** 1/4 but his match against Styles is his best singles match for me atleast.

Him and Jerry from Sacrifice was nearly as good as the Styles match as well. Waltman was doing good in 05 until he no-showed.

LAX vs Styles/Daniels - No Surrender 2006


This was an Ultimate X match. These two teams had an amazing feud going in 2006. They would compete in a classic cage match at BFG the same year. In this match both teams pulled out all the stops. The styles clash off the apron through the table was sick and a very unique spot. The ending was also great.

Just watched KOTM 2008 again, pretty underrated match. Ending was kinda meh and the crowd was only into parts but still around ***3/4.

Ranking the KOTM's

KOTM1 (June 2004) ***3/4 Really enjoyable start to the gimmick with some really sick spots, particularly with AJ's dive onto everyone over the penalty box.
KOTM2 (Slammiversary 05) ***1/2 Another pretty fun match with Raven finally winning the belt.
KOTM3 (Slammiversary 06) *** Probably my least favorite KOTM. It was solid but the ending took away from it.
KOTM4 (Slammiversary 07) ****1/4 The best KOTM to me. Only issue I had was Harris spearing Christian off the ladder at the end instead of taking down Angle as well, but besides that, this is the KOTM I show when people bash the gimmick.
KOTM5 (June 08 Impact) ***3/4 Rather overshadowed match since it happened on Impact. I enjoyed this one more than the one at Slammiversary that year.
KOTM6 (Slammiversary 08)***1/4 Pretty solid but nothing too memorable imo.
KOTM7 (Slammiversary 09) ***3/4 Innovative X-Division match with some great spots.
KOTM8 (Slammiversary 09) ***1/4 Not a big fan of this one, especially with the reasoning for the Joe swerve.
