Styles & Daniels/LAX also had a some of *** 1/2+ matches on UWF/TNA events.

IMO, their BFG match was overrated.

They had a decent feud, with a lot of nice promos and matches.

Staniels/AMW - Sacrifice 06 - *** 1/2
Staniels/AMW - Slammiversary 06 - **** 1/4+
Staniels & Sirelda/AMW & Kim - Victory Road 06 - *** 1/4 - 1/2

Overally, 2006 was amazing year for tag teams.

2006 was a strong year for nearly everything in TNA, it's my favourite year in TNA ever.
The Heavyweight Scene had Christian, Jarrett, Sting, Steiner, Monty Brown, Abyss, Rhino, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, Raven

The X-Division had AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin, Senshi, Petey Williams, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Sharkboy, Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, Kaz, Maverick Matt, Johnny Devine and loads more from Japan like Liger, Puma due to the World X Cup

The Tag-Team Division had AMW, Team 3D, James Gang, LAX, Diamonds In The Rough, Seritonin, Staniels, Team Canada ect.

I miss 06

Their BFG match was great; I thought their Ultimate X match was overrated. However, both are ****+ and and very memorable in their entireties.

Not yet I don't think, I'd say it'll be in another Cross The Line pack around February like last year. I already got a cover printed for my tapde copy so it looks as official as it gets (bar the blank disc lol)

It was a very good year, until now i have a fondness, because I started watching TNA in that year.

In 2009, we have a lot better heavyweight division and probably the same tag team division like in 2006. But X division was awesome and a lot better than today - Joe, Daniels, Senshi, Sabin and AJ as champs, nice World X Cup, etc.

The major angle - Jarrett Vs. Sting was ok, but it lasted too long and Sting appeared rarely. TNA should have a 2 hour of iMPACT! in 2006...

EDIT:

It was good, but not great. From that match I only remember a nice AJs crossbody from top of the steel cage. That teams had a potential like AMW/XXX in 2004, but they did "only" good match. *** 1/2+, maybe *** 3/4.

Yeah, the Jarrett-Sting did drag on a bit but hey the matches weren't bad. I agree they should've had 2 hours back then, I was watching some of the old 1 hr. Impacts I have from when they aired and I was watching the one where Christian debuts and it seemed like SO much was squashed into 40 mins or so and they gave Christian 10 mins.
So that was 30 mins. of TNA (bar CC) to build towards Turning Point 05. Quite annoying, they would book weird ME's for iMPACT some times too, I mean "Kip James w/3LK vs. Jeff Jarrett". Speaks for itself

They believed that Christian was the biggest draw in the company. (lol) His first World title regin 2006 sucked... damn, 4 months after debut !? its one of worst decisions in TNA. He is a good worker with great charisma, etc. and he should be a champion, but maybe in late 2007, or early 2008 - not sooner.
