The weakest of their 3 matches, which obviously still means this was great anyway. Some of the stuff in this match is just so awesome (like Joe backdropping AJ over the top onto Daniels or AJ blocking the Ole Kick on Daniels) but the finish was kinda anti-climatic and Joe makes one attempt at climbing the ropes and doesn't do very good with it at all.
Still a very good match tho, probably the 4th or 5th best Ultimate X I can think off the top of my head.

They had lot of plans going to the match, but Joe was injured days before the match so they had to limit lot of their stuffs. Still a good match nonetheless. My favorite spot was when AJ tried to dropsault Daniels, Daniels ducked it and played to the crowd arrogantly, but AJ made a full 360 degree flip and dropsaulted Daniels on the return..
Breathtaking spot.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Oh yeah that was awesome, AJ lands on his feet somehow and just blasts Daniels with it after he was all cocky and shit. There really were a few great spots in that match, shame about Joe getting hurt but it's still a really good match anyway.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I think the greatest spot ever was when Joe threw Daniels on AJ who was standing in the corner. Daniels jumped on AJ, grabbed him and fell down. While he fell, he pushed AJ in the air with his feet. AJ's feet landed on Joe's head and he did a huricanrana.
That was awesome. Of course it happened in the Unbreakable match.

Joe/Monty/Rhino-Falls Count Anywhere-Hard Justice 06-****1/4-****1/2
Are u kidding me? This has got to be the most underrated match in TNA history, right there with AMW/Canada from FR 05. This match is a fucking war, not very much of it happens in the ring but who cares. All 3 men just kill each other all over the arena, a brilliant hardcore style match and the finish is insane. Awesome awesome match, one of the best of that year for sure.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Around that time, I joined TNA, so I remember some parts of that much. Wasn't it the match were Rhino gored both men through a table on the entrance ramp? When I think of HJ 06, I still see Christian hitting the guitar.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
No Rhino tried to Gore Monty off the stage thru 2 tables that were standing up but Monty moves and Rhino went thru the tables, then Joe STO'd Monty off the stage thru a table that was bridged between the stage and the guardrail.
Fucking insane finish, it really is an incredible hardcore match. Probably the 2nd or 3rd best TNA match of 06 off the top of my head.

Still don't understand why Monty isn't a star in TNA right now.

^^Doesn't he still have family issues? He should of never left TNA in the first place. Him and management should of been able to come to an agreement.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah Monty should have never left TNA. His physique is top notch but lacks in most areas.
The Pounce~! was the best thing in TNA.
