Turning Point 2006 is the match for me. I like it more then any other match that they've went to do on a PPV show.
That was one of probably my top three favorite matches for 2006. Lockdown was good in my book but I'd place it second behind that one as the more better overall match.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
TP 06 match is definitely the best. I don't get all the love for Lockdown tbh. It was a good match, wrestled in a different style and had an important title change but the fixed shoot style was rather annoying and the constant tradeoff between holds and blows was unnecessary. ***1/4 tops for me

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Never understood how the Lockdown one was considered so great. Half the match was boring, since they barely did anything and kept going for the ropes. That MMA shit didnt work at all, and most of the crowd agreed on that. The second half they finally got to actual wrestling and it was great. But *** for me. Thought it was good but nothing special.
Agree, that Turning Point 2006 was the best one.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
^Actually your wrong about the crowd, I was there live and practically the entire place loved the match. There were like 3 idiots who were chanting "We Want Wrestling" for about 20 seconds and that's about it, crowd was super into the match. Tons of dueling chants, great atmosphere for that match.
Easily ****1/4, maybe ****1/2.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah the Lockdown crowd was one of the best this year so far. It's a match some like, some not. I was hooked from the start and enjoyed it. The match had a 'big match' feeling and it all felt so real. Great match and a great moment for Joe.
