July 3, 2002
Jeff Jarrett and Ron Killings vs. Scott Hall and Brian Christopher *3/4

Chris Sabin vs. Juventud Guerrera ****1/2
Forgot how awesome this match is

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I actually thought that 6 man tag was awesome for such a short match, ***3/4 IMO.
That Sabin/Juvi match is incredible tho, ****1/2 sounds about right.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
So TNA put every KOTM match on that Ultimate Matches DVD except the first one? Not cool, I was hoping they'd dig into the vault and give us some older footage. The Asylum days had some pretty wicked gimmick matches.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Well it says KOTM I in the listing, but I'm just assuming it's gonna be the one from 05 and not 04 because they rarely ever use Asylum era stuff in their compilations.

Thanks, I don't own any TNA DVDs that's why I plan on stocking up on DVDs TNA & WWE this winter. I'll be out of school and free to watch a ton of wrestling.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
With TNA's big one coming up pretty quick I'm going to review the two full Bound for Glory shows that I've seen
Bound for Glory 2006:
X Gauntlet *** (Fun and exciting opener)
James Gang vs. The Naturals vs. Team 3D vs. AMW **1/4-**1/2 (entertaining at least)
Monster's Ball III ***1/4 (Great, brutal match)
Eric Young vs. Larry Z 1/4* (It was significant in establishing Jimmy as the true head of TNA)
Senshi vs. Chris Sabin **** (Awesome X Division match!)
Cage vs. Rhino ***1/2 (Tons of fun in this one)
LAX vs. Styles and Daniels ****1/4 (Great ending to their epic feud)
Sting vs. Jarrett ***1/2 (Great main event that gave the fans what they want)
9/10 an extremely fun and memorable show full of great matches
Bound for Glory 2007:
XXX vs. LAX ***3/4 (This is what opening a PPV is all about!)
Fight for the Right **3/4 (Fun and got everyone a spot on the biggest show of the year)
Styles and Tomko vs. Team Pacman ***1/4 (Really good tag match with a funny ending)
Lethal vs. Daniels ***1/2 (Great X Title match)
Team 3D vs. The Steiners ***-***1/4 (Great fun and the most underrated match of this show)
Women's Gauntlet ** (It served its purpose)
Cage vs. Joe ****1/4 (Epic clash between two of the best in the company)
Monsters Ball IV **1/2 (It was fun while it lasted but nothing really happened other than the gore and elbow)
Sting vs. Angle **** (Phenomenal main event where Sting proved he's still got it!)
9/10 One of TNA's best shows ever and one of the top PPVs of 2007 across all mainstream promotions (WWE, TNA, ROH)

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
^^^ Thank you! I thought the Steiners vs. 3D match was one of the best parts of the show, and nobody seemed to give it any credit.
All the Bound for Glory's have been excellent shows, and for different reasons. I recommend all three of them. 07 is my pick for Best TNA PPV ever, and 06 aint too far behind.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
BFG 06 and 07 are both one of the best TNA PPV's ever. TripleG, I'm with you 3D vs Steiners was one hell of a match. I have it at ***1/2, the Frankensteiner through the table got the Pop of the Night.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong should be TNA Feud of the Year.
