Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I loved the way the Sabin/Lynn played out. After The BaseBrawl, tuxedo, and Chain match, a regular wrestling match was so refreshing to see.
Shelly was great in those I think he said he got inspired to make his directorial debut by a movie called "Bulk Friction"
Definitely looking forward to DX, that was the first full ppv I saw when I started watching TNA.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Destination X 2007 was one of the most horrid shows i've ever seen. 6 of the 9 matches were gimmick matches. Ghetto Brawl, Crossface Chickenwing Match, Prison yard Brawl, Elevation X, 2 out of 3 Falls, Double Bulllrope match.. Atleast it had a great main event.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
DX 07 wasn't great, but it had a few really good matches.
The main event and the Ghetto brawl primarily.

2007's Destination X did suck, imo. I don't think I will be able to go back and have the need to look at that show ever. Not even for Cage vs. Angle, considering that might be the worse match the two have had together (on at least TV).

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
"New Details on TNA's DVD for Kurt Angle:
Date Added: September 03, 2008
Story By: Marc Middleton
- Wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino sat down with TNA officials at Kurt Angle's home this past Tuesday to take part in an interview for TNA's DVD on Kurt Angle which comes out on November 25th. TNA's site reports that Sammartino shared stories from his career and reign as World Champion, his thoughts on Kurt's career and revealed some kind of connection he has with Angle, among other things.
TNA's DVD on Kurt will be titled "Kurt Angle: Champion" and will be the first DVD dedicated to Angle. It sounds like the DVD will also include other appearances from other celebrities from the Pittsburgh area. The DVD will come with 1 disc with a runtime of 210 minutes complete with full matches and a behind-the-scenes look at Kurt's life."
Nice title but could of been way better,The behind-the-scenes stuff could be very awesome especially cause of Sammartino, local celebs and angle's personal life,I was hoping for a 2 or 3 disk since theres soo many great angle matches in tna so far but hopefully they can fit as many as possible and the last one really should be his hardjustice one with aj!But i fear tna will add like just 8 matches like they did with sting/cage/joe..Really cant wait for it though and i'll definetly buy the first day it's out!Anyone else??

^^^ That's cool. I'll pick up that DVD just to see Bruno again. He's the man! I didn't see a whole lot of his work from when he was in his prime, but he was insanely charismatic.

I think you meant Against All Odds.
That kinda sucks that Kurt's DVD is only 1 disc. But I guess Joe's was one and it's still awesome. I'll wait on match listings to see if I'll get it (even though I don't have any Kurt TNA matches on DVD, and he is one of my favorite workers ever).

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
My picks for the Angle DVD:
Angle announcement at Hard Justice (including the vid from the fan)
Impact debut - Samoa Joe confrontation
vs Abyss (First match in TNA)
vs Samoa Joe I (Genesis)
KOTM III (Slammi)
vs Christian Cage (AAO 08)
vs Samoa Joe (Lockdown)
vs AJ Styles (Hard Justice)
But probably they will put the Hard Justice match against Samoa Joe from last year in it.
