Aj vol. 2 is very very good. I'd say better than Vol 1.
It starts with AJ/Abyss from Lockdown...AWESOME
Next is AJ vs. Jarrett at HJ for the title. It's a good match, but the ending makes it special.
Then its the classic 3 Way from Unbreakable between AJ, Joe, & Daniels. This is highly praised by many as the greatest match in TNA history. I don't necessarily agree, but you find many that are better.
Then its AJ vs. Roderick Strong from the first Impact on SpikeTV. This match is special because TNA fans voted that they wanted AJ Styles to open up the 1st Impact on Spike. Match itself was little more than a squash, but it is significant for the reason I already stated.
AJ vs. Petey from Genesis 2005 is a bit of a forgotten classic. Even I forgot how good it was. It doesn't quite have the atmosphere of their VR04 match, but its still a damn fine X Division title match.
AMW vs. AJ & Daniels for the tag titles was my pick for MOTY for 2006. I know nobody agrees, but you'll find few tag matches that are better IMO.
Next up is one of the greatest Ultimate X matches ever as AJ & Daniels face off with LAX. Excellent match.
And finally you get AJ Styles vs. Chris Sabin for the X Title on Impact. Kind of a strange match to close with. It's solid, but nothing truly special.
And then of course there is a bunch of stuff on AJ's personal life and we get to hear comments from the Phenomenal One, and that is always a treat.
As for Scars and Stitches, I don't have it, but I have seen all the matches and I have most of them.
Rhino vs. Jarrett from TP05 - Really good & exciting main event. Kind of gets overlooked.
Lethal Lockdown 2006 - IMO, the best Lethal Lockdown TNA has put on. Sting, AJ, Rhino, & Killings vs. Jarrett, Steiner, & AMW, and everybody contributed something great to the match.
AJ/Daniels vs. LAX: Six Sides of Steel from BFG06 - Great cage match and pretty violent. Great way to cap off this great feud.
Rhino vs. Christian: Barbedwire Steel Cage from Impact - Another fantastically violent match.
Angle vs. Joe: Genesis 2006 - Doesn't come to mind when I think of violent/hardcore match, but the two captured great intensity and gave off the impression that they were trying to kill each other. Great match too.
Sting vs. Abyss: Last Rites from DX07 - Now this is the one that had me scratching my head. Yeah, its the bloodiest of the Sting/Abyss matches, but this is also the 1st Match where fans chanted "Fire Russo" because they hated the set up of the casket and everything. Sting & Abyss managed to make it decent, but their Prison Yard Match & their Genesis match were WAY better.
Storm vs. Harris: Texas Deathmatch from Sacrifice 2007 - Nice to see they included this despite Harris not being with the company anymore. This is one of the greatest matches in TNA history, and probably the greatest Hardcore match TNA has ever put on. It was fantastic. Best TNA Match of 2007 IMO.
Abyss vs. Tomko: No DQ Match from Slammiversary 2007 - This was a much better match than people expected. It was the first time where people thought "Hey maybe Tomko doesn't suck"
Abyss vs. Judas Messias: Barbedwire Massacre from AGA08 - A good one to close with considering the last Best of Bloodiest Brawls closed with the 1st Barbedwire Massacre. Its not as memorable as the 1st one, but I think its a better match in the technical sense (more psychology and logical spots and such)
Good list, its just unfortunately I already have most of them on other DVDs.
