Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Petey/Creed - ***1/4 - The crowd made this really good and CC impressed me, plus we saw the CD
KO Tag - **3/4 - Talk about underrated. I really enjoyed this and it surprised me.
Tag Titles - ***1/2 - Super solid match and the Border Toss was OTMFC
Dutt/Lethal- *1/2 - Awful, completely awful, way to long, stupid match
Street Fight - ***3/4 - Fantastic stuff, Crowd chanting ECW was fantastic. Brother Ray is awesome, shame the ending was botched, the fans booed loudly but the whole Abyss thing saved the day.
AJ/Angle ****1/4 - When you have had the street fight and then cage match coming up with weapons, this was fantastic match and didn't even need weapons. This was superb. The ending was great, maybe some blood would have been good but this was great anyway. Maybe I was expecting a huge finish but oh well.
World Title **1/2 - meh, the guitar shot was awfully executed. The match seemed to drag and the action was few and far between. Average at best

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
2007 was horrible TBH. The Tag match should just have been Daniels and Low Ki vs MCMG and overbooking really killed the main event and the whole ppv. This years was amazing, with one MOTYC and two damn good title matches.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I'm glad HJ was so good, combined with a good VR and hopefully No Surrender delivers and I'll definitely be picking up that Cross The Line 3-Pack when it comes out. (Hard Justice, Victory Road, and No Surrender in 1 collection)
Good ratings Styles, I would go higher on the KO tag and maybe slightly higher on LAX/Beer Money but not much.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Tna's ppvs this year have been such an improvement from last year. Only real downside for 08 was Sacrifice and even that had multiple *** matches on it. Just too many damn tag matches but not horrible or anything.
I'd still put VR first but Hard Justice is a very close second.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I think it's pretty close.
Joe/Booker at HJ = Joe/Booker at VR
FMM at VR > Steet Fight at HJ
Creed/Petey at HJ > Ultimate X at VR
KO Tag at HJ > Taylor/Kong or Gail/Angelina at VR
LAX/Beer Money at HJ > LAX/Beer Money at VR
AJ/Angle at HJ > 12 Man Tag at VR (Just barely)
Dutt/Lethal at VR > Dutt/Lethal at HJ
Based on that, I personally would put Hard Justice over Victory Road. Still think Lockdown and Slammi were really good as well, gonna need to watch them all again to determine a final order at some point.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
When comparing the Booker/Joe matches, I thought the VR one was a better match overall, but the HJ match had a much better and more interesting ending.
