Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Great review Stinger got that at 5 as well. Probably my second favorite TNA match just behind the Unbreakable one.
The part when Daniels had him in the Koji Clutch with Aj barely holding on and blood gushing out of his head was fantastic.
Aj vs Daniels Iromnan II BFG - ****
Great match but nowhere near the quality of the first.

Thanks man. Yeah that Koji Clutch was sick as hell. AJ wasn't moving at all. At first I thought the ref was gonna give a KO win for daniels, but somehow he was still living and slowly moving. Only bad thing I can say is that the finish could have been better. When Daniels went for the Frankensteiner, AJ should have hold him up for the Super Styles Clash instead of throwing him down and giving him a normal styles clash. Anyway it was still awesome. Aj's selling was fantastic and Daniels' storytelling is brilliant.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
I'm going to watch all these over hyped, over rated matches and rate them to what I feel. I haven't thought the opener would be ****1/2 even though I haven't watched it.

What other way would you rate them
Btw the VR opener is amazing but some will like it more than others depending on if you like spotty matches.

As far as overrating matches goes, VR opener or AJ/Daniels?
I have the 12-man Elimination X at ****1/4. And my rating for the IronMan is not overrated at all. If you're into the feud and if you know the characters of AJ and Daniels.. you will enjoy it very much.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
AJ vs. Daniels is one of the best matches in TNA history bar none.
VR opener...I'd say its one of their best PPV openers, but not necessarily one of my all time favorite matches.

Well that's obviously a matter of opinion, but do you tend to rate all spotfest type matches lower?

I've only seen the one where it was 0-0 with like 10 seconds left and AJ hit the Styles Clash, I guess I have to go check the other one ASAP

Those two ****+ VR 08 matches. They are gimmick spot fest matches, but if they are granted that rating then so be it. Eg. TLC I, II, III.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
^Oh I thought you were talking about AJ/Daniels, I was gonna say no way is that match overrated at all.
I've got the 2 VR matches at **** for the FMM and ****1/4 for the 12 man tag, there both great matches totally deserving of the ratings IMO. Meltzer gave them ***3/4 and ****1/4 respectively, so it's just not just people from here saying they were great.
