Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
So I guess this is my revised top 10.
1. Joe/Angle-Lockdown
2. 12 Man Tag-Victory Road
3. Angle/Christian-AAO
4. Lethal Lockdown-Lockdown
5. Angle/3D vs Cage/Rhino/Styles-Victory Road
6. Angle/Styles-Slammi
7. Angle/Cage-Final Resolution
8. Petey/Kaz-Slammi
9. MCMG/Speed Muscle-Impact 6/12
10.KOTM/X KOTM-Slammi/Impact(Can't decide which one I like more right now)
Cage/Angle from Impact got knocked off and one of the KOTM's would but I haven't decided which one yet.
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
A while ago I ranked all the Ultimate X matches. The list looked like this:
1) Petey Williams vs. AJ Styles vs. Chris Sabin: Final Resolution 2005
2) AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels vs. LAX: No Surrender 2006
3) Michael Shane vs. Chris Sabin vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki: 2nd UX at Weekly PPV
4) LAX vs. XXX: Bound for Glory 2007
5) AJ Styles vs. Michael Shane vs. Frankie Kazarian: 4th Ultimate X at Weekly PPV
6) Jay Lethal vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Senshi vs. Elix Skipper vs. Kaz vs. Petey Williams vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Puma vs. Homicide vs. Shark Boy: Ultimate X Gauntlet from Victory Road 2007
7) Chris Sabin vs. Michael Shane vs. Frankie Kazarian: 1st Ever Ultimate X
8) Chris Sabin (USA) vs. Hector Garza (Mexico) vs. Petey Williams (Canada): Finals of World X Cup in 2004
9) Jay Lethal & The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Team 3D & Johnny Devine: Final Resolution 2008
10) Chris Sabin vs. Petey Williams vs. Matt Bentley: 2 Hour Primetime Impact Special 2005
11) AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Elix Skipper vs. Ron Killings; Ultimate X Challenge at Destination X 2005
12) Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels: Destination X 2006
13) Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Elix Skipper: Best Damn Sports Show 2004
14) Chris Sabin vs. Matt Bentley vs. Petey Williams: Bound for Glory 2005
But UX15 took place at Victory Road and like UX3 it was a finals to the World X Cup. I would rank that one at 8, right inbetween UX1 & 3. I felt it is somewhere in the middle, and it included probably the most impressive spot in UX history, so it deserves to be somewhere in the top ten.

1. ***1/2 (Took too long to get into the Wrestling side of things, and there was much hard hite just submissions, lots of them. Still a great mainevent.)
2. ****1/2 (What a match! Was hoping for the Japan Guy to win it though!)
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah Meltzer gave it ***1/2. But some on the forum rated it around there too. If you check out the MOTY thread from around Wm time, there's about 20-30 pages of bickering back and forth about the Flair/HBK match. Mostly about if it deserved the full ***** or not.
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Fair enough.
Just watched Sonjay vs Lethal from Victory Road, i think they showed Val to much. We almost mmissed parts of the match from showing her. I think the other match these guys had was tonnes better. Cant remember when it was.
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Watched Sting/Abyss from Genesis '06 last night. Is there anyone elses who loves that match or is it just me? The finish was kind of bs, but damn that match is awesome. The moment where Sting gets chokeslammed on the tacks bareback and then kicks out and leaps up in just fucking insane. From the tacks to the chairs to the hanging of Abyss I love every minute of this match. Rating wise I'd go ***1/2 - ***3/4.
Genesis '06 is one of my favorite TNA PPV's of all time. I have 4 matches at ***1/2+ (Daniels/Sabin, AJ/Cage, Sting/Abyss, Angle/Joe) 2nd or 3rd best PPV from '06.
Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
^I need to get Genesis 06 on DVD, I've seen some of the matches but never the full show. So I can't comment on the show as a whole but my 2 favorite PPV's from 06 are definitely Lockdown and BFG.(Turning Point would be probably 3rd)
I've also never the whole AAO 06 event but I've heard that's an awesome show as well.
