It was actually Joe/Styles at TP '05. Perhaps you were looking at my post when I had it as "Joe/Daniels". I fucked up...

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Yeah i got the event from yours, i'll have to find the event Joe/Daniels was from
Yeah, it was from Final Resolution 2006. Not the greatest match but a favourite one seeing as it was one of the first matches of TNA that i saw. Haven't watched it in a while so it will probably drop down or even off my list when i re-watch some other matches.

I've yet to see that match. The only thing I know about it is that AJ throws in the towel for Daniels. I've been wanting to see this match for quite a while now...

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Top 5
1) Joe vs Daniels vs AJ Styles (Unbreakable 05) *****
2) Joe vs AJ Styles (Turning Point 05) *****
3) Daniels vs AJ Styles (Iron Man, AAO 05) *****
4) XXX vs AMW (Turning Point 04) *****
These are the only 5 star matches in TNA history for me. There are a some ****3/4 as well. U-X (FR 05) and first ever X-division match come to my mind, but there isn't a real number 5. These 4 are another level.

I just watched this show not too long ago and yes, this match was awesome. One of the better X Title matches that year.

Do it! Awesome PPV from top to bottom. As far as 2007 goes, just behind BFG (probably TNA's best PPV ever). Can't wait to hear your thoughts ons Storm vs Harris.

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Oh ive seen that match, it was freaking crazy. James Storm really in my opinion made this match awesome. That spear through the table was freaking awesome.
It made me see the Wildcat and the Cowboy as to what they really are, great performers
****1/2+ Match Imo

Re: Official TNA DVD Help/Discussion/Review Thread
Storm has always shined in Hardcore matches. He single handedly made the Rhino feud to an awesome one. I think that's the one which allowed TNA to extend his contract and release Harris. Harris was more sound technically, but he's nowhere near charismatic as Storm.
