I was watching a video of the Angle v Sting v Cage match.I was listening to the comentary and realised why it's no good. Believe it or not it's because they are TOO thurou (SP) They make their comments on the match so long that sometimes they miss the funny, or exciting things, and actually have to recap, so they are playing catch up almost the whole time. The WWE uses short, sweet and to the point comments so they can keep up with the excitment. Also the TNA commentaries yell to much. THey get excited at the wrong times and after a few minutes it gets annoying.
Thoughts?

The King and Tenay would be perfect together. They got a good color commentator and a great commentator on the match.

98% of WWE watchers think that they're huge ECW fans after seeing 'Rise+Fall' and a few ECW PPVs, they also think that the real ECW is coming back. If you're one of the 2% who thinks the real ECW died in 2001 and can see through the bullshit and understand that this new ECW will just be Vince, his fat wallet and a few has-beens wanting some more cash, copy and paste this into your sig.
I've always thought that TNA commentators are crap. Tenay really knows his stuff, but he's a complete ham, and his "shocked" scream really makes him sound like a b*tch. West...is west. He's not the comic relief, he's not knowledgable, and he's not an expert storyteller.
TNA commentators spend so much time trying to make you think that everything you're watching is amazing that by the time you're finished watching, nothing really feels all that special. If you wanna learn how to make something stand out, look no further than good ol' JR.
I agree that Nash and Tenay would be a great team. Nash is a little too "inside" with the humor, but he's a great heel commentator, and he's as funny as his reputation suggests.
punkboymike got it spot on there. For TNA they spend so long talking crap that the match becomes a second choice. It's like "Lets not forget the events of that amazing Last Rites match and OH MY GOD STING JUST HIT HIM WITH THE DEATH DROP!!!"
Nobody can bring across emotion so well as JR in the history of the business. Sometimes he's that good it makes me wonder whether they actually tell him anything but i think this is the biggest flaw of Tenay, he just doesnt make you feel any emotion or excitement from what he says.
Nash should definatley be on commentary though as i find him hilarious where as West is just tedius to listen to.

Are you kidding Tenay is the best play by play annoncer ever. Now he may not have a high pitched scream like Joey Styles but he shows so much energy for TNA and you have to respect that. Now West is alright but 2 play by play annoncers are never good.
