BOUND 4 GLORY DREAM CARD
My dream card is obviously unrealistic in regards to the current booking and looks odd but I do have a back-story to some of these matches in mind. All you need to know is that at No Surrender, Kurt Angle retained the TNA World and Tag Titles but lost the X Division title due to the interference of the tag challengers Team Pacman. I will break the story up into Impact 1 and Impact 2 following No Surrender
1)TNA WORLD TITLE MATCH- Robert Roode © w/ Ms. Brooks vs. the winner of the 6 man tag/ triple threat match
Roode challenges Angle for the title on Impact 1 following No Surrender and Roode shockingly wins with the assistance of Abyss (fuming after losing to Angle) and Most Wanted (formerly AMW) who attack Angle, deface the US flag and join Roode Inc. On Impact 2, Angle wants a rematch and Roode states that he will give him one at BFG 07’ if Angle successfully defends the tag titles against Most Wanted that evening. Angle accepts and he states that he can “beat Most Wanted with any tag team partner”. Roode states that in that case, he will pick Angle’s partner for him. Tenay and West throughout the night build up Abyss as the mystery tag partner. The mystery tag partner turns out to be Roode himself and together with Most Wanted they destroy Angle and claim the tag titles (Abyss makes an appearance as well attacking Angle).
2)6 MAN TAG/ TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR BFG 07' MAIN EVENT TNA WORLD TITLE SHOT- Samoa Joe/ Christopher Daniels/ AJ Styles vs. Alex Shelley/ Petey Williams/ Chris Sabin (aka SWS)
Super Wrestling Stars (Shelley Williams Sabin) unite as a heel stable and defeat the Dudleyz. They also attack Steiners who come to their aid and Kevin Nash who comes out to congratulate them on their destructive debut. On Impact 2, Shelley defeats Joe and Styles in a three-way with the assistance of SWS. Later that night Williams faces off against Daniels and upon the interference of SWS, Joe and Styles come out and a fight ensues. Cornette announces that at BFG 07’ they will be involved in a 6 man tag with the winning team facing off in a triple threat for the #1 contender status to the TNA title and that this match serves as a contingency in case Angle is not successful in defending the Tag Titles and therefore gaining a title shot at BFG 07’ that night. In that case, the winner will immediately face Roode at BFG 07’ (it is a little confusing but the multiple destinies angle would be unpredictable)
3)Homicide vs. Christian
Homicide decides to go solo and break up LAX. Homicide and Hernandez take two different paths on Impact 1 post LAX. Hernandez loses while Homicide defeats Rhino. On Impact 2, Christian challenges anyone to a match at BFG 07’ putting his undefeated streak on the line. Homicide sees this as an opportunity of a lifetime and answers the challenge.
4)TEXAS BULL ROPE MATCH- Kurt Angle vs. Abyss
(See TNA Title Match) Since there has been no way to separate the two they will become inseparable with the bull rope keeping them at arms length from each other.
5)X DIVISION TITLE MATCH- Jay Lethal © vs. Sonjay Dutt
Having previously held the X Division title for just a few days, Jay Lethal saves his X Division Title defense for a memorable match against his good friend Sonjay Dutt at BFG 07’
6)Senshi vs. Rhino
Rhino goes on a losing streak having lost to the newly single Homicide and then Senshi. Rhino has a heel turn immediately attacking Senshi and setting up a rematch at BFG 07’
7)TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH- Most Wanted © vs. Steiners vs. Team 3D
The newly reformed and newly crowned tag champions put there titles on the line in an unadvertised match against Team 3D and Steiners.
8)Sting vs. Raven
On Impact 1, Sting defeats Havok and Raven attempts to lay into Havok. Sting offers his bat to Raven, Raven takes it and Sting pummels him. Raven shows us his unparalleled mic skills that night taking a verbal shot at Sting and his career. On Impact 2, Sting faces Black Reign and Raven stalks his prey. Sting wins the bout and Raven DDTs and continues his verbal tirade standing over Sting.
9)Ricky Banderas vs. Eric Young
This is the unadvertised debut match of Banderas in TNA.
That's my brain explosion for the night.
