The thing that is so stupid is the king of the mountain match could be so good. They dont need to make it so dam gimmicky. It could simply be that whoever gets the belt off the rope is the winner like a ladder championship match with a better name that fits the concept. Having a belt being tossed around like its trash to have the winner put the belt on the rope is entirely stupid.

The promotion for this PPV will be fascinating. Since 2014 I don't think TNA have really delivered on PPV and most have dark clouds over them.
Lockdown 14- Atrocious booking.
Sacrifice 14- Poor card
Slammiversary 14- The last good ppv, exceeded expectations.
BFG 14- In Japan and all the drama surrounding the taping schedule/poor main event.
Slammiversary 15- No great matches. Another mess with the taping schedule
BFG 15- Was okay. No great matches. Was at the time when no tapings announced, product went in the can for 3 months.
Slammiversary 16- Solid show but all the talks about the show almost not happening/lack of finances.
BFG 16- All the Corgan/Dixie/Anthem/WWE would it happen/would it be cancelled drama overshadowed it and the main event sucked.

Looking back, I think we're owed a good show.

When you put it that way, hopefully Slammiversary can be a great show without any bullshit surrounding it and I have confidence that it won't.

People really don't understand how Dixie no longer in the company is going to benefit TNA in the long run. Even if TNA slip up one time, at least there will be a security blanket with Anthem that is willing to work with Jarrett. With Dixie, especially the last three years, there was none. At all.
