No spoilers.

SLAMMIVERSARY IS COMING

Lame stip to Galloway vs Lashley, though. Why complicate things, TNA?

346,000 this week, down 23k, but up to number 83 and the Top 150 (even though down they bought in new viewers)

0.10 demographic

Damn another solid Impact. It had EC3, The Miracle, Maria, Decay, Grado and me doing the EC3 arm dance. What more can I ask for lol. Only real issue I have is how Bennett beat Storm. I mean a slap and roll up. Come on man. TNA continues with the segments away from the ring as they try and tap into the casual viewer like Matt Hardy said they need to. Someone asked about Robbie going serious, which I was digging, but he is falling into the same trap that EY did. He can do serious but he is pretty damn good with the comedy.

Bobby vs Bram was great. Both guys looked strong. Bram held his own against The Destroyer while Bobby ended it early with the chair because he did not need to win the match.

The segments with Bennett were cheesy but old school cheesy. It reminds me of a couple weeks back when Al Snow was doing old school heel cheating. For those of us watching wrestling a long time it is nothing new but for new fans it is.

Forget The Tribunal vs Grado/Shera in a wrestling match at Slamm. They need to face each other in a mic off. The hilarity of all 4 talking where we can only understand 10-20% would be comedy gold. I did like the video package for The Tribunal. Looks like they will be a bit of tough guys which is good. Speaking of video packages I love the opening part of Slamm's with Jeff doing that dive. Again us older fans have seen things like that but newer ones have not seen anything like that in last few years.

TNA did some decent editing on EC3's segments because they cut out how he kept talked about Slamm being in 10 days when it was really 12 days from that Impact.

Now for the big elephant in the room. I loved the Hardy segments. TNA was smart by separating the segments instead of doing it in one long segment. People saying they have been watching for decades and that this was the worst segment are so full of it. I am fine if people did not like it but to say it is the worst is the biggest hyperbole since the last announcement from Dixie. Like it or not some of the most popular shows on TV are soap operas, telenovelas and reality shows. And that is what I thought of watching the Hardy segments. It was cheesy and over the top which makes it perfect. Jeff should stick with the facial hair, gives him a different look. People complain about how predictable wrestling has become and they do the same thing well here we have Hardys doing something a bit different.

Next week is last before Slamm and I can not wait. Hope for a good go home show and then a very entertaining Slamm.

Lol at the bs above.

Impact and LU are the only watchable weeklies for now. RAW has decent moments, but it's 1 or 2 moments for THREE hours, and rest of wwe shows is pure garbage with nothing happening there. It may change for month or two after brand split, but eventually it will be the same.

This one Matt and Jeff segment is better than everything from this weeks WWE, except for Cena-Styles part. But Cena is one of the few relevant WWE assets, cant teach that.

Not sure why people are expecting wrestling? They've got a PPV coming up thats where the wrasslin is, you're going to get segments. Wrestling isn't a sport.

Show did its job and built up to the PPV, The fact people hate Matt's gimmick, expect him to shove it in your face even more and annoy you with it.

So people shit on this but love Lucha Underground? Double standards... The slow motion was a tacky addition though.

Overall entertaining show with some great storytelling. Get off your high horse, put down the hateraide, and enjoy the show.

. . . . . .The hate here is ridiculous. Like people mention here, there are double standards here. LU always does this over-the-top segments and people just swallow it. At least, TNA is TRYING. . . . .

Well, normally I'm a TNA apologist. I just haven't been feeling the last two weeks. I actually have little complaint with the non-wrestling vignettes. Yeah, the Hardy thing was super cheesy, but It was OK. I hope that table was pre-broken because he landed right in the center of it.

RANDOM PICTURE!!

I can see if this was two other people some being upset with the way the feud's gone, but it's Matt & Jeff Hardy feuding. The match is going to be bad no matter what so you might as well let them go nuts and have at least an entertaining buildup as opposed to what they've done in the past. And with things like Boring Bram vs. slightly better Ken Anderson, Grado vs. Al Snow dragging on, the BroMans getting a title shot because they're the only face team left and Tyrus wrestling a match almost every week you have to get entertainment from somewhere.

Good god do not post that. Some in the lolTNA camp will have their heads explode trying to balance their hate for the segment with the fact a guy they admire loved it. :grin2:

Oh BS, I can always count on you for a good laugh.

I can not help but wonder if some of the people complaining about the segment 1) realize this is not a segment done to win an Oscar or an Emmy as the case may be and 2) have actually watched much wrestling. I mean for a wrestling segment the production was pretty good and as far as acting, with exception of a few flubs it was pretty good.

At the end of the day I stand by my insight that I think they were going for a soap opera/telenova and/or reality show look and feel and they NAILED IT.

The hate here is ridiculous. Like people mention here, there are double standards here. LU always does this over-the-top segments and people just swallow it. Atleast, TNA is TRYING. And yeah, there is no point in having PPV quality matches, every other week. At the end of the day, this is a scripted show and we need reasons and build up to look forward for a particular match.

Atleast, we can say that almost every wrestler in the TNA roster have a character. You won't be finding an Apollo Crews or Neville jumping around doing spots every week without any reason.

The only negative I found in the last episode was the booking of The Decay. Yeah, there was interference from Lashley which made them lose the match, but it gave me a slight feeling of watching a Roman Reigns match.

They should follow this course. Let the weekly episodes be heavy on segments and every other match should have some reason.

The whole damn Hardy feud has been somewhat comedy based. You love it you hate it, its entertaining, good or bad.

And if we get a good match out of it at Slammiversary, job done.

WBS proves times and times again what "BS" stands for

1st, it wasn't poorly shot. It was actually pretty decent. Expensive equipment and some good shots. I dont deny the cringe part, especially in slow motion side effect shot, but it has nothing to do with technical side. LUs are still a little bit better, though.

And acting was fine too. Not better and not worse than LUs. Dario Cueto is the only one in LU who can actually act, everyone else are just wrestlers, some of them can act better, some cant. Same here, Jeff and Matt acted the same, as an average wrestlers.

The acting and the production of that segment is pure horse shit.

Period.

This will only do more damage to TNA. Good for Matt however;
he's able to do whatever bad idea he has and his company is run by such incompetent people that green light everything without thinking too much.

You're welcome Morrison mark...

Exactly. Not only was the Hardy thing not the worst ever it was not even the worst on that episode of Impact lol. And speaking of that janitor segment, it shines a bad light on the talent that they make such a horrible mess in the restroom. If they wanted to make it bad for Mike they should have just one stall and have Tyrus come out of it. THAT would make sense.

At least this stip makes sense story wise. The bad side of it is it seems almost certain that Lashley will win. I would have liked to see Drew hold it longer but I like Lashley so it is a tough call. I just do not see him losing in a MMA way.
