Something about Beer Money seems off to me

They don't seem to have much chemistry together.
There timing just seems off.

Bobby Roode and Austin Aries were a awesome tag team but Roode doesn't seem to fit with James Storm in this current age.

I wasn't really watching TNA when Beer Money was first around but from what I have seen, they seemed pretty good back then.

Bobby Roode has established himself as a great singles wrestler he doesn't need the generic Canadian muscle or beer drinker gimmicks he had in the start of his career.

Doesn't make since why Roode has been demoted as he was a great old school heel champion and had a great reign.

Guys like Drew Galloway and MVP shouldn't of been taking his spot as they are less talented.

I think its cause its kinda forced, TNA needs tag teams desperately right now, and with Storm returning to the company they needed him to return as a face and have a role of some sort for him and reuniting Beer Money was all they could come up with. I agree its not the same as it once was, both have moved on from that, and established themselves as solo stars.

Roode being back in Beer Money kinda feels like a demotion, they had their run years ago, it was good but its over with, leave it alone. It would have been like if WWE reunited Edge and Christian as a team back in 2008. It wouldn't have worked either, they evolved as solo stars and just didn't fit together as a team anymore.

Roode belongs in the main event scene, not back in a tag team he was apart of years ago. I mean he was so determined to win the title, but now he's content with drinking beer and goofing off with Storm.

Yeah that's it. It feels forced.

Not much of a fan of James Storm as a babyface but he was a solid heel when he had that feud with Gunner. It was a pretty good feud.

Roode isn't that great when he's a babyface and not the main attraction either but he still much more interesting than James Storm on the mic.

Both Roode and Storm seem forced as babyfaces.

Honestly, it's classic TNA booking that, when they are in need of star power as people retire and or jump ship, that they put Roode back in a tag team. The dude is a great face for your company all around, although obviously you need to be looking for someone to replace him soon seeing as he's roughly as old as Cena IIRC.

I think Galloway would be a worthy replacement, except (and this goes together with why I think Beer Money don't seem all that good anymore in your opinion) he doesn't seem to give a fuck anymore. Neither does Beer Money, neither does nearly anyone I see in TNA. They seem resigned to TNA slowly spiraling into its FINAL death throes, because new network or not their situation seems pretty dire to me all around.

The sole exception I see is Eric Young, who is ironically trying way too hard in this heel role of his. Combined with his brand new tattoos and lashing out repeatedly on Twitter I think the guy might be having some sort of mid life crisis.

Eric Young is awesome as a heel and has great timing in the ring.

I loved it when he was center of attention in early 2015. TNA was pretty darn good for a while there.

Not much of a fan of Drew Galloway he's pretty bland to me. Hated him when he started that stupid Rise Up campaign thing.

Roode seems to be having a good time with Storm plus their new shirts are selling like crazy. They're going to be together for a while.

There really wasn't much for Roode to do as a singles guy anymore.

It doesn't really matter that Roode isn't a top guy anymore since they have a great replacement in EC3 who is just as good as Bobby Roode in my opinion. A Roode vs. EC3 feud would be great.

Matt Hardy really shouldn't be a top guy he's not that good.
Bobby Roode is much better..

Watching Storm and Roode's booking since Gaburick took over in 2013, it hasn't been that good. First of all they won't push them in singles. They'd rather push fucking Fathardy.

That being said, they seem to having fun. That being said, this OP is quite moronic shitting all over Galloway.

TNA reforming Beer Money was a good decision, imo.

It adds some new teams in the tag-team division, it gives Roode & Storm something to do, and it's something people have wanted for years.

Personally, I don't think it comes off as forced, since they seem to be having fun. :draper2

It's clearly a cash grab by all concerned thus there going all dx with the shilling of the merchandise. Which to be fair without Jeff hardy in active competition tna probably needs a boost in that department and I'm sure both them guys will make better royalties as a tag team.

There better in the tag division and eventually holding gold in a kind of holding pattern then working the mid card or the upper card because at the moment tna is pushing new guys to the main event so this is a clever way to protect both then reintroduce them a later date to provide fresh match ups

The timing was awful and it could have been executed so much better if they had held it off a few weeks. Could of have roode feuding with the decay and abyss getting the upper hand then beating the living shit out of him. No one from the back awnsers and after referees have been knocked out tryna break it up James storms music hits.

He saves roode but says there still not cool the decay goes after storm rinse and repeat when roode saves storm they say they need each other to beat them. This puts the decay over beer money get the win and become title contenders setting up wolves vs beer money

That would have been the way to book it that's not what we've got.

Tna really needs to bring in a few new tag teams even if it's on short term deals to see what gets over. I'm sure they'll be regretting breaking up the bro mans now, they weren't stale, they were over and were good hands. Seems a stupid decision when Jesse has just gone into another tag team which won't get over. If anything Jesse needed a good twelve month run in the midcard establishing some character. It's a shame he's lost in the shuffle because he had all the makings to be a star.

This happens with a lot of tag teams I think. The Beautiful People were great back in the day. They were red hot back in 2009. Then they broke up and went their separate ways, and when they reunited again it just wasn't the same. Angelina and Velvet have been dining on that same gimmick for years now, and it's pretty stale. They even brought Madison Rayne back into the group.

Now they've done the same with Beer Money, but it's not the same anymore. I also question how Robert Roode isn't in the Main Event scene anymore either. It's been 3 years now since his year long TNA World Heavyweight Championship reign. Pretty long time to be out of the Main Event scene. Just shows how brutal TNA is at booking their Main Event scene.

It's like DX in 06. It was great in it's time. It doesn't work almost a decade later.

They should make Bobby Roode the face of the company in the absence of AJ, but seem to push every WWE guy instead of him even random midcarders like MVP and Matt Hardy.

Don't lose Roode like you did AJ, TNA.
