I must say after watching TNA wrestling last night, I was seriously impressed with everything I saw. The only thing they are lacking are the crowd type quality like NXT and a good network that a lot of people would find easily unlike Destination America. But other than that.. WOW, WWE really dropped the ball with EC3, Drew, and many others. It's incredible how much these guys improved in a short amount of time.
I'm loving the whole championship series, I love how the knockouts are involved. Im loving the point system, it makes every match important and very watchable because you'll know the wrestling will be on point! It feels like I'm watching an actual sport, especially with the pope and Josh giving there feedback on who they think will win the series.. feels like a mix between march madness and Sportscenter.
OP are you taking the piss.... TNA roster has hit rock bottom.... No X Division...No Tag division (and no hope of Beer Money coming back) and the Heavyweight scene is mediocre at best, TNA NEED to higher some quality, why let tired ass win the gauntlet for the gold (or whatever it was called) why not let a TNA original like Mr. PEC-Tacular win it, I don't know let some young talent with a future get pushed instead of some useless overweight fat ass with no wrestling skill, I remember watching TNA when it first started and thinking this is wrestling now I watch hoping to see some wrestling, but with the current roster I can't see that happening.
TNA can't decide what to do with their rosters - their headline females (Kong/Kim) haven't been given near enough time to make their matches mean anything special, Angelina's pregnant so she's not wrestling any time soon, and seeing as Velvet's boyfriend is now in WWE, I doubt TNA will use her all that much
speaking of the boyfriend.... TNA's best heel in years is now back doing the Dudley gimmick again - yes TNA, your best heel has gone back to WWE (for more money!!!) because you failed to deliver!
so.... James Young, Samoa Joe, Bully Ray, AJ Styles.... do we really have to ask where the talent went to??
on the left is the roster currently listed on tnas website, on the right the people no longer under contract, suspended, commentators, announcers or never likely to wrestle another match for tna (king mo)
The roster is good but not stacked. TNA needs like 5-7 wrestlers at least and around 4 new tag teams. Go and make a partnership if you can't sign big names . There are wrestlers as ACH and Adam Page in the indies. So talent exists.
I am not saying to sign the two who are clearly seen as future by ROH , and i don't know if TNA can sign them , but there is plenty of talent in the indies. Bussick was just signed by WWE ,or so it seems -i believe the rumors only when i see the actual proof -, but there is Thatcher , Gulak , Jaxson James (pretty talented guy from AML Wrestling) hell even Chris Hero who could go for at least 2-3 years.
Plus all the raw talented guys that you can find in promotions such as IWA-Mid South. They need to scout and make deals with promotions , like appearances of their stars at big events and such . I think you could use the talent from promotions as CZW and IWA if you left let's say Young or Roode for their anniversary show only to sign on a sort of collaboration contract with the respective promotion their young talented guns. They could still be on their promotion , but work primarily for TNA . As they did with ROH back in the day .
Stacked ? Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle are the only stars in there the rest of the roster is now garbage. Excluding EC3.
