Discovery Romania has purged TNA from its Saturday night lineup and it seems like Discovery owned Eurosports Finland has done the same. As of now, Impact on DMAX is scheduled on until September 25th atleast.

UPDATE: Discovery has also pulled IMPACT WRESTLING episodes which aired on Saturday afternoons on Discovery En Espanol (The Spanish language Discovery network in the US).

they lost italy aswell apparently

which was supposed to be one of their better markets

also:

Live Audio Wrestling announced on the Review-An-Impact podcast that as of Bound for Glory, they will no longer cover TNA on their podcasts and RAI is being switched to a show where Nate & Brian discuss various topics like Bauer & Pollack.

Re: people wanting TNA to die, I think the number of people who hate TNa and want it to die just our of spite is actually fairly low. I think the real reason people are hoping it does, is more out of pity at this point. They see it more as a mercy killing.

Bit sad it's happening. I really don't want TNA to die out, I just want Dixie to have the company be acquired by someone whose interest isn't necessarily wrestling but making a profit out of wrestling, thus making it entertaining, thus providing competition with WWE, thus making him money while talent is pushed because money comes from satisfied viewers... I think.

Tbf, WWE could survive for years on an international only market, they still aren't getting paid much, but they would still tour and sell merch regularly, not to mention they nearly sell out every arena. Regardless of the wrestling aspect though, WWE losing the USA deal while searching for another wouldn't be much issue at all, because they're a legitimate corporation that ventures outside its origin.

There's no problem with a faction.

As long as it's done well and in an organic manner. Guys like Roode, Aries, BI and Bully were all involved at one point and another with each other in various feuds during 2012. You even had Roode and Bully teaming with each other even if they didn't like one another.

This would be an alliance based on business. "we have all our enemies, why not bring our forces together for each other's benefits".

Aces & 8s was a group formed at the last minute to spike the ratings when Impact went live for the first time. Hell they didn't have a game plan. They did the attack before they even thought about what they were about.

This alliance would make sense. The 5 best heels in TNA. All having titles.

Lol

TNA could of been #1 by now and we call could of been in a middle of another legitmate Monday Night War.

But No.. TNA really had the chance to be #1 when they picked up Christian, Rhino and then Kurt Angle and the rest of the extremely talented roster they had.

If only someone with common sense was leading the company.

They really did have all the tools to be a global force.

Billions of dollars to pump in. check
Prime Time on a big cable TV station. check
Big star names and great talent. check

How the fuck could anybody fuck that up?

The notion that you're not a true wrestling fan if you wished TNA out of business is BULLSHIT!!

"You wished TNA out of business? Then you're not a true wrestling fan!"....you see these kind of posts all the time in TNA forums made by obvious TNA fans, and it is complete Bullshit. This self-entitled sentimental garbage is basically being used by marks to cover-up the truth about TNA incompetence and their horribly run wrestling promotion. Actual truth is most fans who want TNA to be done with, do so because they want it to be put out of its misery so that the wrestling world can progress with something new in its place. But ofcourse when you try to explain that, these are the typical response you get from marks...

#1 - You're a WWE mark and want WWE to completely monopolize the business.

Reality Check: WWE ALREADY HOLDS THE BIGGEST MONOPOLY IN THE BUSINESS. TNA is extremely insignificant. TNA draws 300k for fucks sake! 300 fucking thousand! Repeat that number to yourselves again. Its not even 1% of the wrestling market. WWE already has what you fear would happen. TNA going out of business means shit to them. So why would any "WWE mark" even concern himself with TNA in the first place? He wouldn't.

#2 - Think about the Wrestlers!

We do. That's why we want them to move on, get better bigger opportunities, perform with passion and deliver great matches and promos. This is not possible in TNA anymore, because the promotion is dead in the water, its extremely dull, stale, stagnant with no hope or future. There's a reason you always hear about wrestler's half-assing and coasting it in TNA the most, of all promotions that exist. TNA is a poorly run, badly managed piss-hole and the wrestlers know it. As long as this excuse of a promotion exists, there will be no progress for anyone. Simple as that.

#3 - Think about the Crew, backstage workers etc..

Why should we? really? why is this even a issue in the wrestling world? I'm a wrestling fan and as for as I'm concerned the buck stops with the wrestlers. So why am I expected to worry about the janitor who cleans toilets or the camera guys or the production manager? People lose their jobs all the time in the real world. That's just how it is. So just because I refuse to concern myself with the jobs of crew members behind the scenes whom I don't even know, does that disqualify me from being a wrestling fan?

Point being, this whole notion of someone failing to be a true wrestling fan just for wishing pitiful TNA's existence to end, is highly flawed, stupid and needs to stop. TNA fans need to understand and realize that those who want TNA gone are not doing so because they are WWE marks, or that they hate TNA. Its because TNA being what is, is simply holding back our industry from progressing.

There is a type of wrestling fan who wants to watch wrestling but doesn't want to watch WWE. Always has been. That's why WWE didn't automatically pick up Nitro's audience in 2001.

When / if TNA goes under most of those fans will not switch to WWE. They'll just stop watching wrestling. The decline and purchase of WCW in the early 00s was a disaster for wrestling - most of those fans never came back to wrestling. The decline and closure of TNA, if it happens, will not be a disaster on that scale. Nowhere near. But it will be a shame, and further the overall decline of the industry we're seeing at the moment.

Them's the facts. You wanna hate on TNA for fun you go right ahead. But you're missing the bigger picture.

implying that there is still hope
If it wasn't for the Carters TNA would have gone out of business in 2002. The failure of GFW before it even got started shows there's no room in the market for a second promotion which isn't able to run at a loss. So TNA is more use to the industry under Dixie than without, because if it wasn't financed by the Carters, it wouldn't exist.
death or suffering, choose wisely

Quite frankly, anyone who wants TNA to go under, which causes people to lose their jobs, is a fucking selfish person.

I don't care how about badly TNA "squandered their chance," or how much "Dixie Carter fucking sucks," or whatever excuse people use to try and justify their desire to see TNA die. There is no good excuse to want to see people lose their jobs. None.

can not wait for WWE to get those hands on the TNA video library so we can have a TNA DVD and they can show some of the good Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Styles matches on there
