I have not been a follower of TNA, but recenty have watched some matches and bought some dvds and got some interest in it.
I noticed the poster of Bound for Glory 2103 had Jeff Hardy in it with the TNA title in his eye, but the main event was AJ vs Ray... was Jeff originally planned to be in the main event? What happened and why was it changed?
Honestly can't remember, but I do recall aj being thrust into the title scene when his contract was running out, in an attempt to keep him there, sorta like the cm punk storyline from wwe, except they actually let him defend it across the world when he eventually won the title
All I know if BFG was an awesome PPV until the last two that have been very low quality, I really hope this year goes back to the way it used to be. Main event does not look bad at all. For a show that is their WrestleMania/SuperBrawl they really have not put much effort into the card quality past couple years imo.
the original plan was bully ray and hogan but hogan left about 2 weeks before the show
they had been building to bully and hogan for about a year, first bully befriended hogan in his fight with aces and eights, then bully "married" hogans daughter in january 2013, then bully turned heel at lockdown with hogan outside the cage
