Force them? They are both independently ran business. Destination America cant force them to do anything. Well DA could force TNA to do a lot of things, but all ROH does is hand in a tape of shows they've already filmed for syndication. Only one promotion out of TNA and ROH lives or dies by Destination America keeping them on air.

Anyway, very few of these wrestlers are exclusive. If an indy promotion wanted to, he could make most of these matches happen.

So you think ROH would walk away from a Prime Time spot on a National cable channel where they're getting a paid?

Come on....

If DA forced ROH and TNA to put on some great Clash of The Champion type cards it might make Wrestling fans call up their local cable channell and add a few channels

The only people who can force ROH to do jack shit are their owners Sinclair Broadcasting Group, the very thought of DA having any pull with ROH beyond buying their show for syndication and putting them on TV is fucking laughable.

TL;DR Destination America couldn't force ROH to do shit.

To reiterate what others have said, Destination America can't force two companies to work together simply because they are paying a programming fee for their respective TV shows. They can't dictate what either company does with their talent or obligate them to work with each other. A show like that would require a great deal of production costs and promotion to even justify doing it and given that DA isn't even paying for ROH to produce "exclusive" content for them, I doubt they will have the muscle to pull it off. It just wouldn't go down like that.

It's really simple... Protect your Champ. Singles champs are protected.

TNA World Title
EC3 (C) v. Rockstar Spud - EC3 wins

ROH TV Title
Jay Leathal (C) v. Matt Sydel - Leathal Wins

AJ Styles, Jeff Jarrett, Gallows & Anderson vs. Roode, The Kingdom & Drew Galloway

This is a mixed ROH/TNA Roster "Bullet Club" vs. other guys.... AJ pins someone from the Kingdom

Briscoe's v. The Dudley Boys - Briscoe's win a wild brawl (1 Win ROH)

FLAG MATCH
Angle v. Del Rio (Angle wins 1 WIN TNA)

Hardy's vs. the Young Bucks (Young Bucks win when Matt Hardy is pinned - 2 Wins ROH)

Tag Title Unification Match
Bad Intentions v. The American Wolves - Wolves win some DQ when Bad Intentions intentionally take the DQ to save their titles. (2 Wins TNA)

BRAM v. Cheeseberger (BRAM in a Squash 3 wins TNA)

Why?

ROH has a better roster. Only ECIII vs AJ would draw any real money. A few years back, sure. Right now ROH has little to gain with where TNA is right now.
