I think he's very good but I think he is best being in the tag division at present, lord knows the division needs tag teams. He would be a decent XD champ further down the road.
I agree. Actually, the Wolves had way better matches in the Indies. Davey utilized a much larger moveset and the matches are more diverse. In TNA, they only have a handful of matches and all non-gimmick matches feel the same.
He's fine where he is now. Eddie and he were brought in together, so they had to basically start over again in TNA. First dominate the tag division, then they'll go their seperate ways. I think both guys have the potential and are good enough to be TNA World Champion, just as long as they are kinda groomed to do so (Davey in the X-Division and Eddie as TV/KOTM/Whatever it's called/Midcard title picture) once the split happens.
No. He was signed as a package deal. Hence the constant bland booking of always being in the tag championship picture.
Guess that's better than being in singles b/c not like tag teams mean anything in TNA these days and this dude is intolerable. This is Davey Richards we're talking about anyways. He'll find a way to burn this bridge, too.
:bow Davey is a twat at the best of times god knows what he would be like if he gets another main event push. Keep him where he cant do any damage. And when the times right push Eddie who's an actual main event star.
Richards needs a manager. Richards was really help when he was managed by late , great Larry Sweeney . Sweet and Sour handled the promo work , while Richards took care of business in the ring. The worst thing a booker can do for Richards is hand him a microphone.
I was thinking the same thing. The guy is a great wrestler. His match against Austin Aries at Slammiversary was epic. He can cut a pretty good promo too. The Wolves are an awesome team, but I would like to see Davey break out on his own for a while, and receive a big singles push.
I have only recently watched their slammiversary PPV since I dont get the show in Canada on TV but im pretty knowledgeable on Davey, I think he has potential as a singles competitor in an X-division style setting, but other than that I think he is best used in a tag division, not to take anything away from him or to say its lesser but I think he would shine more there with the occasional singles match when the time is right. His match at slammiversary was really good, better than most of his others IMO, but I think he is best represented in the tag division.
I think Davey deserves a huge push sooner rather than later. I was hoping to see him against Angle, but I don't think Angle can handle Davey's stiff moves at this age.
I don't watch TNA as it is and if TNA goes through an American Strong Style era ala ROH then I will continue to avoid it. He better learn how to sell and start learning psychology before he can be a legit main eventer. Again I don't watch TNA but I'm a Wolves fan so I wanted to give my two cents.
Eddie is the one with the potential to be a big singles star, if he could cut a promo.
