anyone else catch the show that aired internationally instead of slammy '14? just seen it here in ireland and i thought it was another really good show!

great to have pope back, such a good character and great on commentary this week!
really fun x division match, spud looks like a proper star! argos was quite good, had a few good spots, i'd like to see more of him!
Jessie is so intense, it was great, really good heel work, and he's so jacked that hes legit threatening! loved his intensity, don't think i've ever seen zema as a face but it went down alright, he was finally let wrestle :mark:
ko's match was a rebel match, nuff said, but on the other hand i''m really enjoying the dollhouse so far!
good packages throughout the show, reminding us of the storylines as there was zero storyline progression on the show bar arguably the jessie zema match
no idea why mica got an x title shot, makes no sense. he's yet to put a foot wrong in tna though, fair play to him, i no longer see him as camancho
nice main event with roode and bram, grwat to see bram back, seeling the 'i hate everyone' thing really well, he's great, definite future champ all being well! dirty win was best result, roode back to dirty heels now anyway so if he won it'd be for nothing!
all in all a really enjoyable show, should really show it in the usa too!

i could hear pope call josh daddy all day and still be entertained by it

Question, did they show Tigre Uno's entrance with the streamers and if so how did it look on TV?

As far as Mica getting an X title shot, no he does not deserve one from a talent stand point. But from story line stand point it makes sense. One, BDC and Rising are feuding and two if you are a heel and want to stay champ and have to defend you pick someone you know you can beat.

yeah they had the streamers, not the first time ive seen them either im nearly certain! yeah they looked good, nice and different considering we havent seen pyro in a year. pope made a comment on them being pretty cool too! looked better than roh's streamers do imo

makes sense in terms of the feud yeah but he's just so chunky haha rising could do with an x division member considering bdc have two (three when homicide is fit)
i'd prefer if there was a mid card title used in the storyline and free up the x title, but thats wishful thinking

Yeah, I doubt they'll ever show this show on mainstream TV in the States. While decent, it had a bit of a "filler" vibe to it. There was no real storyline development and a lot of the B and C Team were out in force.....

Kraazy Steve in the X match (but getting lots of chants?), Khoya vs Magnus, Mika vs Kenny King, Marti-Belle vs Rebel for the KOs.... It was like a televised house show really - get all the up and comers and newbies out for singles matches and give them a chance in front of the cameras. Even Pope doing commentary was probably because it seemed like a good opportunity to give him a try out.

As for the actual show, Khoya vs Magnus has "nightmare match" written all over it, yet it was actually not bad. Magnus looked in great shape and was really connecting with the crowd and Khoya, while no AJ Styles, managed to hang with him okay, surprisingly. Rebel still needs a lot of work - green as grass. And I really, really like Pope on commentary. I hope he sticks around (for however long that may be).

And the Roode/Bram match was pretty good, too. I was initially unimpressed by Bram but he's growing on me. I'm sure the strong booking helps, but he has a lot of potential. He looked like he belonged in the ring with Roode anyway, so as a Roode fan that says future main eventer to me.

And Jessie got some mic time and a chance to show off his new heel character in a match with DJ Z and he's also looking really promising after being somewhat overshadowed by Robbie in the Bro-Mans for so long.

Overall, an okay show that was a step above the ONOs or the usual Xplosion fare but which was pretty clearly "not progressing anything." Still, in some ways the "throwaway" nature of the show meant we got to see some things we wouldn't usually get to see like Jessie and DJ Z actually doing some mic work, Rebel coming out to a new tune, a backstage promo by Bram.... This was pretty much a "try-out" show and actually quite entertaining for it despite the lack of storyline progression.

Was a pretty good show. It's weird that no wrestling sites had any reviewers. Not on Pro Wrestling.Net, PW Insider or The Torch.

I didn't watch all of it so I missed a few things:

Jessy was the highlight for me. He cut a good heel promo, then was confronted by Zema Ion. They had a match and Jessy was pretty ruthless in it. Beat Ion with a Boston crab where he was screaming like a nut while doing it.

Solid match between Roode and Bram. Typically bad TNA finish though with a low blow and roll up by Bram. I think it's a case where I feel like TNA should have had a clear winner here but bailed. WWE has the same problem now where they want to protect everybody and nobody gets over. This was a case here where Roode should have won clean after a great showing by Bram. Showing that even though Roode is focused on tag teams now, he's still one of the best all on his own. Roode deserves better.

X division was fun but the crowd started to boo the Hell out of it once Crazy was eliminated. Guy was crazy over and he was popular cause he kept using all his clown trademark gimmicks. They got back into it after a while.

Magnus faced one of the Revolution guys Koya and pinned him. Magnus tried to get a big babyface clap on a few times during the match but the crowd didn't want any of it. They popped for the finish though. But it feels like the fans don't seem to know how to react with Magnus. They don't buy him as a full-fledge babyface yet maybe cause he's been a heel for quite some time and the storyline with Micky and Storm don't make him come off as a clear face. I think maybe the people just like Storm better.

honestly this is tnas own fault. they don't play backstage segments to the fans so at the time of taping they haven't seen storms backstage antics like attacking magnus and all his scheming and smirking. for the audience that seen the tapings all they've seen is storm being nice to mickie and magnus being a dick to him for it. for us seeing on tv we can tell stroms got a plan here but the crowd doesn't see that. its a bad move really from tna because i think magnus is carryng himself really well as a face, just the crowd is unsure, i thought he was great on this week, a reminder of how good he can be

That is a good point about the back stage segments. But also Storm is popular and the way they in ring segments were done it kind of lead to cheering for him. Magnus is coming off as a jealous man and it seems like he is more about protecting his ego than protecting Mickie. I would not be surprised if down the road they did a double swerve. I do not think they will but it would not surprise me.

yeah if theyre not going down that road then they need to start showing storm as a heel and fast, magnus definitely looks jealous as you say, personally want him to stay face for as long as possible because i genuinely believe thats where we'll see the best out of him. think if he gets over as a face again he can potentially get back in the title picture. i'd pay to see him take on a strong heel champ (ec3)

I'd like to see them make the X title a mix of a mid card belt and a light weight belt. At least till they get a bigger roster and can bring back the TV title. That way the smaller guys have a belt but you also have a belt for guys on their way up. Plus with Option C you can have a guy cash in with a real chance of winning the World title. I mean beyond Aries.

I really do not understand why TNA can not post the show on its youtube channel as an added extra for the fans. From all the reviews I read the international episode sounded pretty good. It seems that TNA is not treating its US fans well, UK and international markets get a lot more each week - Xplosion, British Boot Camp, etc.
