Remember this a few years ago? Well it seems TNA have actually implemented this policy as of late, and I was just curious as to everyone's thoughts?
We've seen hardly any backstage stuff, and probably 15 minutes of promo time throughout the whole show (how times change). Everything else has been in ring action for all of the show.

Yup, enjoying TNA much more this year, compared to last. Just wish they'd take their time building up stuff. Bram/Magnus was over before it felt like it even started. Angle/Lashley for the first time then got 2 rematches in 3 weeks. The best feud they've done was EC3/Spud but I think the slow build on that was mostly down to EC3's injury. I guess it doesn't help that they don't have ppvs to build too but still I'd like to see better builds.

Yeah I wouldn't put it ahead of LU as a current weekly show.

It is definitely an improvement though, glad to be back in the fold after a few years away.

The ICW Drew hype combined with a different network and Eli Drake made me become interested again and I'm glad I gave it the chance again.

Ever since the 1st NY tapings last year in June, TNA has had a heavy focus on in ring action and scaled back on everything else. Since their PPV business is all but dead, this has made them produce consistent weekly shows filled with quality in ring work. Of course, an ideal show would be a mix of good in ring action and entertaining storylines which they are doing better of lately. I just hope they bring back the Bound For Glory Series this year because that is always fun.

It has been much better. Were not talking about back stage stuff or interviews. Were talking about TNA terrible back stage stuff and interviews. That never drew a dime or filled a seat. If you had Ric Flair or The Outsiders in there primes, let them speak. No not a mental hospital sketch that never drew a dime or put a butt in a seat. Just give them a mic. I am a fan of The Bromans and Spud, sometimes they are great. Like that Japan one night only Bromans, Wolves three way. That was classic Bromans. But there is a line of stupidity, the booker needs to know what that line is. The is also a time line. I don't need to hear Spud talk for 20 minutes every week, we already know who he is.

The worst was during the Hogan era when they had loads of old guys past their prime cutting long promos. TNA has gone back to it's roots, putting on a strong innovative in-ring product. The best it's been since 2009.

Everyone is saying it's better now but I don't see it. I guess by just having wrestling they're trying to get the fans back that watched before Hogan came to TNA. But I like story lines and promos combined with good matches.

Impact was good the first few months and I liked the EC3 and spud feud but now I'm bored of it. I don't want to just see wrestling matches each week and not much else. The matches on Impact aren't as good as they were either. Even when there is a good match the camera work and lighting makes it hard to enjoy. This stand up for wrestling and wrestling matters stuff is kind of pointless now. It made sense a few years ago but now there is plenty of wrestling like NXT, Lucha underground and soon GFW so it's not needed.

to be fair the name of the company "Total Nonstop Action Wrestling" so what do you promote?

total non stop wrestling from bell to bell, that makes sense and simple to understand and thats what TNA have done since January they know what they want and they are sticking to it and are working hard to get the stench of Russo and Hogan off

its like WWE "World Wrestling Entertainment" they are about the entertainment so go with it.

"Ring of Honor" = pro wrestling and athleticism and respecting the opponent

"NOAH" = taking the young animals from the ark (All Japan) and guiding them to success

all those promotion names have meaning to them they cant be just randomly put together you can't just expect the same thing

In ring action has been good since NYC shows, but they dropped the ball at story lines. They should get that their shows is a sports entertainment, not ROH, NJPW or LU. I'd be cool if they follow their 2009 formula, good stories, proper build, feuds that makes sense, great matches, bigger roster.

I think since post Slammiversary last year TNA has really improved their television product. Since the move to DA characters have been developed further, rivalries have been better paced (still a way to go) and the format for the 2 hour show is much improved. An improved focus on the X Division and the matches guys can have there would boost impact even further imo.

I agree, they have improved since post Slammi. But they don't get who should be the champ, who draws, who can wrestle, who should get TV time, who can talk, how to build, etc. It'd be worth watching if they manage to build rivalries.

Some fans who want just wrestling matches are happy but a lot of people have stopped watching the show. There is less interest in TNA now and less people are watching the shows not just on tv but even online. On tv they're on DA a channel some people don't get so that should mean people watching online should increase but instead it's decreased. This section isn't very active either.

In 2012 there used to be almost 3000 torrent downloads for impact but each year since it's got less. In 2014 impact was getting almost 2000 downloads but now in 2015 it's only getting around 1000 downloads. On another website where people watch videos online. Impact was getting between 75000 and 100000 views in 2014. But now they're only getting between 50000 and 70000 views.

Right now they're just having mini ppvs each week with match after match. Just wasting matches that should have been built up over months or could have been done on ppvs. TNA needs to bring back storylines and build up feuds before it's too late.
