This is the guy who probably leaked the story by the way.
A number of readers sent word that Taz removed all references to TNA on his Twitter account today and asked whether that was a sign of something greater going on. As it turns out, it is.
In asking around, we are told that Taz did not come to a planned voice-over session in Nashville, TN this past Thursday as scheduled to do commentary for several weeks of Impact Wrestling.
Sources within TNA claim that pay issues led to Taz effectively refusing to get on his flight from New York. So, the same pay problems that we wrote about over the last few days that have been frustrating some TNA wrestlers for weeks was obviously a factor.
It appears Taz removed TNA from his Twitter to, at the very least, send a message to the company. When asked about Taz's relationship with the company, my source declined to comment. PWInsider.com efforts to reach Taz were unsuccessful.
As far as the Impact Wrestling episodes, I was told that Josh Mathews handled the commentary alone for the episode that will air this Friday but that could change as TNA has until Thursday to hand the episode into Destination America.
I was also told that TNA recently gave Al Snow a tryout as an announcer, so read into that what you will. TNA are considering letting Taz go either way.
I think the idea is that Al was going for "menacing" in that photo, but it comes across more like, "I hate my life."
I hope Taz leaves TNA and comes back to WWE. He was a really good announcer then, I loved his work with Michael Cole. Then they can fire Byron Saxton and send him to TNA while they're at it.
Well first it's not like he was the only one bickering over that match, Josh was garbage too. Second if we're going to hold back money for guys who suck in TNA Ken Anderson should have only gotten one check in his career. I can understand Taz's point if they haven't payed him in a bit.
He tweeted recently some big things were coming and he had meetings in NYC. I am calling it now, he will be in RoH by end of the summer. If not that he might end up working with HoH and Dreamer.

Dreams do come true. I'm sorry if he hasn't been getting paid but good riddance. He has consistently brought down the quality of the show with his inane ramblings since day one.
Al Snow name drop could work. I don't quite remember him being remarkable, but he'll fit the bill. Plus, I like him. Yes, personal bias omg.
Taz is trash, but that's why I like listening to him. b/c he rambles & it's outrageous. Car crash mentality. Unlike Josh. Ugh. Kooky color guy is fine by me. Duller than death play by play is where I draw the line.
I agree his work has been subpar but I blame whoever is producing him! I mean, they tape their commentaries from a small studio. If the producer didn't like how he was calling it, they can always stop, give some guidance, and re-tape. Obviously, this is TNA we're talking about so I'm not surprised things like this happen.
If he's bitching for pay then let him go, people that are just in it for the money are usually cunts. As for Al Snow, I've enjoyed his commentary's he's done in the past so yeah, give him a shot.

Good Taz sucks now. Al Snow is a nice improvement.
