DMAX even tweeted about it making fun of Raw

Last Night, TNA Impact Wrestling made its return to TV in Germany, Switzerland & Austria, airing on DMAX, which is owned by Discovery, TNA’s US Partner and one of the most popular channels in this demographic.

The first ratings in are 220,000 viewers for the first airing.

Comparing this to other wrestling ratings, this past weeks WWE RAW in this same demographic earned 200,000 Viewers, while Smackdown achieved 140,000.

While the success of Impact Wrestling may somewhat be due to the main stream channel it is now airing, one for the most popular and owned by one of the Worlds Largest TV Networks, it shouldnt come as a surprise due to the fact that Impact Wrestling was Germany’s No.1 highest rated wrestling show in 2013, before it went off the air. DMAX.de are said to be extremely satisfied with these numbers.

I kindly disagree. He's earning the attention of trash celebs. Funny to watch, nothing else.

I would count is, as far as I know, his fame is like the fame of the Jersey Shore today.

Also I guess around the 90' he was more popular than today also in no trashy manner.

thanks for your info

yep you are right. i am from austria and cannot get tele5. it is not everywhere availabe in austria (50% of kabelanbieter). in history tele 5 had a little higher viewer audience but dmax is since 2014 getting better.
i assumed dmax to be much bigger.

(However if you watch for typical wrestling watchers dmax has the bigger audience. dmax tries to appear to young men - what makes wwe sensefull for p7max because it is for kids or nerds)
