Bram attacking Magnus makes no sense

Had Bram got the case he would have gotten the tag team title shot which he then would have got Magnus to be his tag partner. So why's he so jealous and pissed when he'd be in the same situation had he got the case? I mean i could understand his anger had Magnus got the world title shot or the x division title shot, but Magnus got the tag title shot which in turn means Bram got it as well since they're partners. It just makes no sense, why be pissed when you're getting the title shot as well?

This.

Kayfabe wise, nobody knew what case they were going to pull down. As far as Bram knew, Magnus screwed him out of the world title shot. So it makes sense from a storyline perspective and shockingly....it's logical. Now Bram has potentially screwed himself over with the world tag titles because he's attacked Magnus.

Not to mention, the week before on Unlocked during the Magnus/Mike Tenay interview: Magnus said he had the best tag team partner in the world with Bram, and that he (Magnus) was the reason he managed to get a job with TNA. He said that at least one of them would be walking out of Feast or Fired with a briefcase. So it sounded like Magnus was good with Bram getting the briefcase if he had the chance to get it, but instead went into business for himself. It's actually a pretty decent storyline.

I think it was logical too. Like someone else in the thread said, Magnus tried to paper over the fact that he stepped over Bram to get the last Feast or Fired case by saying that it was the tag title shot and he was going to pick Bram as his partner, but Magnus couldn't have known for sure his case was a tag title shot when he picked it, so he did betrayal their friendship. Bram then overreacted, which is going to make him the heel in the feud.

It is a great storyline build. Was Bram actually in the right be being mad at Magnus? He could have gotten the briefcase without Magnus' help but then got power bombed by Magnus. Magnus could have been ready to just kick Bram to the curb if his briefcase did indeed have the World Title briefcase.

The only issue I have with it, is that we've already got the best friend feud with Roode and EY...

apart from that, it'll be great to see these two guys mix it up. I'm a big fan of both men, and I hope this feud elevates them both. I wish Lashley was still a heel, because I want a face Magnus to go after the title again.

I agree with this. I always felt like Magnus was better than the way his was treated after his title reign ended with a big whimper and Bram's been a pretty good addition to the roster. I wanted them to get a run with the tag titles at some point last year, but I like that they're setting them up for a high-profile feud that will keep them prominently on TV for awhile.

I think you are forgetting the common sense in the matter. Bram had about 5 beer bottles in front of him at the bar. Anybody who drinks that much alcohol has to be drunk. Thus, he was not thinking clearly by attacking Magnus. He sounded pretty fucked up when talking too.

I think it's possible to still be pissed despite the results being favorable to you. After all, when the briefcase was taken at least storyline wise it was taken with the intent to get an opportunity it just so happened that opportunity could help both of them, but it didn''t necessarily have to. There were other options that could've unfolded and his "friend" screwed him out of those potential options. So yeah, it's understandable to be upset with that.

Bram not talking about daddy in law makes no sence. Does not have to say his name. Just god said I shoud do this or that..Who are thse writers? They need to be fired hire wrestling people.

Bringing Flair into it makes no sense whatsoever. Is Flair coming back to TNA for an angle of sorts? No, he's not. So why bother mentioning it? Just to get a cheap pop from the fans? Maybe some woo's?

Bringing Flair up will only look like a cheap way to get Bram attention. Rather than have him try to capture heat by proxy from Flair, Bram should be looking to make a name for himself.

until reading this I forgot Bram married Ric Flair's daughter. no real reason to bring in Flair's name. i think that would just take away whatever you're doing with Bram/Magnus and put attention on Ric Flair. I could understand if TNA was bringing back Flair and using him in this storyline, but right now I don't think that's happening.

Bram attacking Magnus helps turn Magnus back to being face. if Magnus did something towards Bram it could make Magnus look like the one remaining heel.

TNA should have thought this out better. TNA been trying to make Magnus a star for a long time. But he's a Midcard talent at best. He's a ok heel but a terrible babyface. They should have had it where Bram expected Magnus to pick him as his partner but Magnus went with someone else like Drew Galloway. They could have setup future feuds here. Bram could have costed Magnus his tag title shots by interfering. Instead of Rushing into a feud they could have Magnus/Galloway come out and say they got screwed and deserves a rematch. This would lead to Hardys and the Wolves all coming out claiming their claim to a shoot leading to a three way for the Tag Titles.

As for Bram.... he could get into the Rockstar Spud vs EC3 feud. Spud and Andrews could go to Bram for Protection from EC3. At first Bram wouldn't be willing until EC3 comes along seeing them talk and makes some comment to Bram where they get face to face with Tyrus pulling EC3 away. Bram could take out Tyrus on a impact and EC3 and Spud could set up a Match where If EC3 wins Spud has to Leave Impact for good and if Spud Wins EC3 has to become Spuds Personal assistant. Spud could finally get his revenge for the treatment EC3 did to him. Aligning Spud with Bram as his Savor might help make Bram a fan Favorite. He's already one of the better things TNA introduced last year. Plus it would create Bram a new storyline to do this next year. He would Be TNA version of the APA (Acolytes Protection Agency). Knocks-outs and wrestlers can use him as a Loose Cannon Hired gun figure.

True but this is wrestling, more so it is TNA wrestling, so anything is possible. Maybe they feud and then team again. They could have Bram beat Magnus into submission. Or just be a team that fights among themselves almost as much as their opponents. Image a match where they are dominating the other team and suddenly they start shoving each other and fighting until the other team recovers and they go back to fighting them. After all, drama makes for some good TV.
