What TNA can do to attract more Wrestlers

1. Allow Wrestlers to use their real names or use their gimmicks after they leave. - It's a shame what the WWE did to the Dudley's.

2. Reduce work schedule and major holidays off.

3. Allow the majority of the roster to work for Indies (Except the current - Champs and major stars (Angle, Lashley Roode, Hardy - with some restrictions)

4. Give talent access to healthcare

5. Enter into relationships with multiple overseas and indy promotions - Wrestle1, ROH, AAA, New Japan, Omega, PWG, House of Hardcore etc.

And thats fine if the dont.... It could benefit both companies if they decided to work together in the future.

It could be something as simple as a talent exchange... TNA sends Gunner to ROH for 6 months and ROH sends TNA Adam Cole. Or they the Wolves and Daniels/Kazarian comeback to attack the Tag Champs.

Don't let your wrestlers work for indies except partner promotions or big leagues.

I take it you are not in the business world. Because if you are no one should hire you as a manager with that attitude. Plenty of companies have got bad reps and worked their way out of them. That is what TNA needs to do.

As for the topic, cater to the employees so they see advantages to working for TNA. The lighter work schedule without the crazy touring would be a major selling point to some talent.

1. I think TNA already does this. I don't think they trademark gimmicks like the WWE does.

2. They do six or seven nights of work per 3 months. How much more time are you going to give them off? TNA is basically a part time wrestling company as they currently stand.

3. They do this. The issue is TNA wants a huge cut and doesn't work with the independent companies on a fair deal. Why drop a thousand dollars on Manik when you can bring in 2 WWE legends for a classic WrestleMania rematch for around the same price?

4. This costs money and wrestling would cost an incredible amount to insure everyone. Something like this has the potential to bankrupt TNA.

5. Why? If the benefit of TNA is the reduced schedule and major holidays off why would the talent want to go overseas?

---

The only way is if TNA proves they can use a young talent properly. This will mean taking a young 23-26 year old guy and making him the next big star of wrestling. If TNA creates a couple of mainstream stars then you will probably have independent guys willing to risk it for a shot at being the next X or X.

Unfortunately the time for that seems to be over. I can't see TNA creating huge stars on such a small network. This should have been something they were doing 3-4 years ago on Spike.

Good point. I will point out that outside of WWE, TNA might still be the best chance to go mainstream via their exposure. I would say Lucha Underground may soon pass RoH in that aspect. Yes DA is a tiny network but it is a set network and TNA will be on in prime time where as RoH is on independant stations during late night viewing. And with EY already having some success on Discovery we could see some more cross promoting on DA's sister networks. The one draw back that TNA has that does not seem to effect the other promotions right now is WWE seems to not want to bring in TNA guys but are picking up some from other promtions.

1. No more WWE/WWF/ECW/ROH wrestlers,for at least 5 years.

2. Get TNA merchandise with the new logo into all retail stores.

3. United Talent Agency can get TNA wrestlers into TV roles, radio promos & affordable billboard ads when they come to different cities.

4. Bring back Open Fight Night & Gut Check. Go back to that 15 bracket Gut Check list and sign wrestlers from there.

5. Make everyone that buys a ticket sign a confidentiality agreement, barring them from posting spoilers on any social media. if they do, it results in fines or imprisonment. If any wrestling website if found with TNA spoilers, they will also be punished. That's shuts it down. Websites won't be stupid enough to post spoilers, if they know they'd fined or imprisoned. Lucha Underground does it and there is no spoilers posted.

6.John Gaburick and others travel the country or just watch footage of wrestlers. Sign a few of them per appearance and others to long term contracts. Keep the rule of them not being able to appear on television.

7. Hire public speakers to teach the wrestlers to do promos. Public speakers aren't expensive. An hour or 2 with wrestlers, could mean the difference between the crowd sitting there speechless and having a crowd showing interest in what you're saying.

8.Hire men and women with degrees in writing, to create storylines and characters for the wrestlers. Give the new people 1, 2 or 3 wrestlers to work with and see how they do. No more 90's writers that hopped from company to company.

Actually there were spoilers posted for Lucha Underground for the first couple of tapings. So is TNA going to waste time and money tracking down people that gave a report on the show? Not to mention TNA would look like douchebags and it would only cause people to not only give a report, but film whole segments.

Why so anti WWE? I understand not having a roster filled with ex WWE guys or signing guys like Brodus Clay who could be replaced by someone a lot cheaper but if the right talent becomes available why would you say no?

It'd be like the Australian Soccer league saying "No thanks" to players from the EPL. It just doesn't make sense.
